Meeting Facilities at Embassy Suites Kansas City - Plaza Hotel, An Eventective User from New York, NY

Having attended several business meetings for the past few years in many cities (including Chicago, Dallas, New York, and Seattle) and having experienced the best, and sometimes the worst, of many meeting centers and facilities, I can heartily recommend the Embassy Suites Kansas City - Plaza hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. This meeting facility is located in downtown Kansas City, only a few miles from both the Kansas City International Airport and the Kansas City Downtown Airport, making it very easy for those traveling for meetings from out of state. The hotel boasts a large number of conference rooms that offer different capacities and arrangements. We have had sales meetings in the large Moralia Room, which is also suitable for large press conferences and training sessions, as well as in the smaller La Paz 1 Room which can hold around 15-20 people comfortably. All conference rooms at this hotel are designed such that they can be used as one giant room for large groups of people, or be divided into 2 or 3 smaller rooms, as necessary. The facilities and equipment at Embassy Suites are excellent and do not disappoint. The meeting center provides complete conferencing services such as audio/visual equipment including LCD projectors, DVD and CD players, white boards, teleconferencing equipment, climate and lighting controls, and very comfortable furniture. Wireless access comes included as well. The icing on the cake, at least for me, is the hotel's proximity to the Historic Westport and the art museum. All in all, I recommend this meeting center to anyone looking for a reputable and high-class meeting facility in Kansas City.
