The Franklintown Inn includes a rich and diverse history that goes back to the late 18th century. The Inn has seen many owners and different personas - from a Civil War garrison, nine mile house, and speakeasy to a cozy inn, restaurant and bar where generations of families and friends gathered to share dinner, swing dance, live music and so much more. The Inn sat empty for ten years until the current owner relocated from Laurel Canyon, California in 2012 with a burning passion to restore the old Inn from top to bottom, bringing it back to life and the community which was built around the Inn. bring the local community another breath of life. .
