The Stranahan Ballroom features a modern design and ocean-inspired chandeliers, reflecting the city’s culture and seaside setting. The 3,000-square-foot space can accommodate up to 150 guests for a wedding celebration or up to 200 guests for a cocktail party. Just outside of the ballroom’s glass doors is the Elev8 Rooftop, bordered by leafy palm trees for a truly Florida setting in the city’s center. If you’d like to celebrate in the warm Florida air during your event, you are welcome to host a wedding ceremony with up to 150 people, or your cocktail party for up to 200 people here. Your guests can enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while relaxing on the modern lounge seating or at the scattered cocktail tables. When the festivities draw to a close, you and your guests can rest in any of the hotel’s 238 rooms. Our team at Hyatt Centric Las Olas looks forward to supporting you during your special event. They will be there to set up and clean up your event no matter the space you choose. Our on-site culinary team is happy to prepare a variety of menu choices for you and your guests to enjoy. Our wedding packages offer all-inclusive plated dinner services, designed to wow your guests during each course. If you prefer a buffet or reception dinner service for your event, our catering team is happy to create a buffet display, with options ranging from Japanese sushi and dim sum, to ceviche and slow-cooked pulled pork. Additionally, you can request one of their talented chefs to serve Asian-noodle, sautéed-shrimp, or fish-taco stations. Bar services are also available, including a wide selection of house liquor.
