The Woman’s Civic Club of Cumberland, Inc., is a gorgeous setting for any celebration. Situated midway on historic Washington Street and surrounded by mountain vistas with breathtaking backdrops. Plan your next wedding, reception, shower, concert, memorial service, business meeting, or any other special event at this historic 1855 Victorian home with its spacious high-ceilinged rooms, historic architectural details, elegant crystal chandeliers, and period furnishings. A large kitchen and pantry are helpful for complete food preparation. You are welcome to cater your event, use an outside vendor, or engage our services; and refreshments such as beer, wine, sherry, or champagne are allowed. The venue rates are broken down by room and floor space.

Great Place to host a breakfast meeting - An Eventective User from Cumberland, MD

Comfort Keepers of Western Maryland hosted the monthly AGES (Allegany/Garrett Elder Services) meeting at The women's Civic Club. All those in attendance marveled over the warm, inviting, historical beauty of the home. The meeting room was very accommodating for the group of people that attended. There is plenty of parking and easy access into the home. Linda Perry "Organizer" for The Women's Civic Club is wonderful to work with and the cost to rent this extraordinary home is very affordable for all that is included. Staff retreat day for ACDSS Foster care staff - An Eventective User from Cumberland, MD

Awesome place for a venue. We wanted somewhere away from office to have several brainstorming group sessions and lunch. Worked out great! Beautiful! Accommodating! Great history! Great location! Linda Perry's(groundskeeper) hospitality is phenomenal.

Great place for event. - An Eventective User from Rawlings, Maryland

Allegany County Department of Social Services Out of Home team met at The Woman's Civic Club for our retreat. The home was an inviting, warm and beautifully decorated. Ms. Perry made us all feel comfortable and it was quite interesting hearing the history of this home. We will definitely use again!

A great place for a wedding - An Eventective User from Cumberland, Md

Had our wedding at the Woman's Civic Club on October 26th of this year. It was absolutely perfect for our small wedding. We had about 80 people and we were able to have enough room for me to have an aisle to walk down, which was very important for me! If you are looking for a venue that is elegant and affordable the civic club is the place to hold your wedding at! I was able to have both the wedding and reception there and use the two rooms upstairs for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready in which was very convenient!
