Clay Corner catered for our wedding, and we had a great experience working with them. Jenna was so helpful when it came to making decisions about our menu and was able to accommodate our various dietary restrictions and food allergies for guests. Service on the day of was wonderful--Jenna made sure that we (the bride and groom) had plates set aside while we got pictures with each table. Our guests loved the food! My fiancé and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Clay Corner Inn. It was great having a private venue to ourselves - it made our event feel much more intimate and personal. The venue and location near downtown Blacksburg were great! Parking was easy too. Our guests had a great time, and the food was amazing!

We held a special celebration in mid September and our 60+ participants thoroughly enjoyed the delicious catered meal provided by CCi. Some German guests asked if the chocolate layer cake came from Germany, it was that good! The outdoor tent (which could be heated and closed to the elements if needed was just the right size, the food was refilled several times to keep it warm and fresh, the background music was well chosen, the staff was smiling, very polite, and quietly helpful in the background. Working with Jenna and her husband was easy and efficient. And best of all, the price was all inclusive and very affordable. A place we can highly recommend to anyone who looks for an intimate place to celebrate a special milestone.

Jenna was kind enough to jump in at the last minute to cater my daughter's wedding, one week ago. She did an amazing job! The food was wonderful and everyone has been raving specifically about the mac and cheese. :) We had several members of the bridal party with significant allergies and she was able to provide a 3 entree buffet with all the fixings, salad, sides, rolls , lemonade, tea and water for a very decent price. She was also a pleasure to work with! Kudos and thank you from our family!

Our daughter's wedding was held here and we could not have been happier with how everything went and how we were treated. The inn is incredibly charming, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the food is delicious. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful or friendlier. Everyone we encountered was polite, professional, and I felt like they went out of their way to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend Clay Corner Inn--it was simply perfect!

We held my sister's bridal shower here and had a great experience! We initially had it booked for August, but when my sister got Covid, Jenna was able to reschedule us with no issues. Everything was ready to go when we got there and the food was perfect for our event. Thanks so much for everything!

We had a wedding (at another location) and needed to find a caterer on short notice after our original caterer had quit. We were so impressed with how professional, organized and flexible Clay Corner Inn was, especially on short notice. They were able to mostly match our original planned menu, and our guests could not stop raving about the food! We highly recommend Clay Corner Inn as a local, affordable catering option. Their catering food was great, and their restaurant food is amazing as well!

Jenna was so great to work with, she scheduled our event was professional but personable. All conversations were easy and she was on top of everything!! Charlie the Chef, prepared a delicious and fresh meal for us and was there to help with any and everything he was amazing! Stephanie kept all our guest smiling and happy with drinks in hand!! This was a great event for us- from the initial contact to the very end!! Our event hosted about 50 guests, with pool and patio access; along with, taco bar, and cash bar. We will definitely turn to this venue for future events for family and for our business.

We had our wedding at Clay Corner Inn and it was far more amazing than we could have imagined and it was all because of the exceptional service offered by the staff. The property is beautiful, if you’re looking for a nice cozy at home feel. The beds are super comfortable, and the kids loved swimming in the pool. I cannot recommend this place enough, their wedding packages are very affordable and their service is out of this world. Josh, Jenna and their staff are just incredible and they do everything possible to make sure your needs are met. We are incredibly thankful to them for making our special day memorable. Also the bar is lovely and the drinks are strong!

We hosted a small whiskey tasting event at Clay Corner Inn's new Speak Easy restaurant. The food was great. Shrimp and cheese grits, heirloom tomatoes, pulled pork, and deviled eggs. The service was awesome, Q our server was attentive and very engaged with our group's needs. The Prohibition theme was a nice touch! Highly recommend Clay Corner Inn for your next event.

Clay Corner Inn hosted our graduate program's Holiday Party for about 40 people and it was wonderful. We were really happy to support a local, small business, and Josh and his staff provided excellent service and were extremely accommodating. The catering was also great. I would highly recommend the Clay Corner Inn to anyone looking for an event space.

My husband and I recently got married here in an all weekend event! Our ceremony was on a Thursday and our reception was the Saturday following, but we rented out the entire Inn Thursday through Sunday. And to say the Inn and the staff was accommodating would not nearly be enough. The rooms and houses were amazing, and the pool, patio, and yard were exceptional. It was so perfect and wonderful in every way. We had an amazing time celebrating, having out with our friends and family, and relaxing by the pool. We plan to use the Inn on many more occasions and hope others will be inspired to do the same. To all the staff and owners, we thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to stay with you again!!

Great place for an event and stay.

We had a small gathering for a gender reveal event then stayed the night in one of the king rooms at the Inn. Everything was great from the staff, the room, and the amenities. I would definitely host another event there again in the future!

During covid it was very hard to plan a wedding. The Clay Inn went above our expectation to accommodate our family. The food was great and we were the only ones in their dining area. It felt like being home and that was special. My mom, 85 years old, felt safe and enjoyed the ambiance with the beautiful fireplace. We recommend this place.

I worked with Josh and his team to plan my wedding and he was fantastic to work with from start to finish! Josh was always the first to remind me that it was my day and not to get too stressed over the details. We decided to switch our wedding from inside to outside at the rehearsal dinner due to the weather being nice on our wedding day and it wasn't a problem. Josh was totally accommodating! My bridesmaids and myself also want to say thank you to his teammate, Charlie, who was also FANTASTIC! That man never your wine glass run empty, and for that, we were all thankful! Charlie is officially the gold standard. Josh's wife, Jenna, also was a great help on the day of and made sure our guests knew where to go and when. The food was outstanding as well. Our family and guests still mention certain dishes they enjoyed whenever we bring up our wedding day. Overall, our day ran smoothly and I'm beyond thankful that I chose Clay Corner Inn as our wedding day venue! Can't wait to visit again!

I found the Clay Corner Inn on the internet. I was looking for a local venue to host a small dinner party for my sister-in-law on her birthday. I had never heard of the Inn but, after I contacted them and visited the Inn itself, it seemed perfect for my event. The manager, Josh, was friendly, welcoming and informative. He assured me that the Inn would be my "living room" for the party and he was right! What a wonderful night it turned out to be! The food was delicious and was prepared on site. The service and setting was excellent! Josh and Charlie worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect! Our guests were delighted by the space and everyone enjoyed their dinner and their experience at Clay Corner Inn. Who knew such a delightful space was available for a small (but very special) event! Clay Corner Inn is is a B&B...but, it turned out to be so much more! I highly recommend that you check them out!

We wanted a venue that felt like we were in our living room but didn't want the hassle of dealing with caterers and clean-up; Clay Corner Inn was perfect! Josh, the General Manager, was attentive, communicative, and thorough. The staff were friendly, kept our glasses and appetizers filled, the space clean and orderly. We dropped a box of decorations and a slide show which the team setup for us, rearranged the space to accommodate our needs, and were able to answer all of our questions and meet all of our needs with no delay and the utmost responsiveness. Our event was on a game-weekend: we welcomed over 100 people to our gathering and had no issues with parking, getting the food or beverages we wanted, or securing the space for the time we needed. I cannot say enough about the space and the staff - highly recommend the Clay Corner Inn for an event or gathering!

We hosted a retirement party here on a Sunday afternoon with about 30 people. It was absolutely perfect! Josh is the general manager and he is made for hosting. He made it so easy for me and paid attention to every detail. Charlie was his assistant and he was wonderful. They made a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all of us. This is MUCH better then renting a banquet hall or hosting at a restaurant. It felt like you were in a nice cozy home with lots of room to spread out but not so big that the guests got separated. They enjoyed the back porch also. The kids played football on the front lawn. They made a delicious appetizer spread that seemed like way more than I paid for. They were very generous. The coffee and lemonade bar was super cute and delicious. They made sure I had all the cables needed for a slideshow presentation. I honestly couldn't imagine a better place to host an event. They arranged the furniture specifically for the type of event I wanted to hold. I am very excited to share this review so others can enjoy The Clay Inn for their special events. It is very affordable. You will be taken care of much more than any other event I have hosted. My guest were from Roanoke and Blue Ridge so it was a bit of a drive. They all said they loved it! The drive it worth it because of the service, atmosphere and nice catering. I'd be happy to be a reference for anyone needing more information. THANK YOU Josh and Charlie.
