Worth the Drive, Worth the Date, Worth Everything — An Eventective User from Richmond VA

We toured over 10 venues in our area before finding Cedar Oaks Farm, and truly nothing else met both my and my husband’s standards — especially not at such a fair price. Every other venue was double the cost, and still didn’t compare. From the breathtaking Mountain View’s to the immaculate getting-ready suites, we knew right away this was the one. The staff was kind, responsive, and helpful from the very beginning, and they worked with us to book immediately after our tour. We ended up driving 2.5 hours for our wedding here, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. It was booked far in advance (for good reason!), so we didn’t get our original date — but we were thrilled just to get in. We ended up with a July wedding and the weather was perfect. Yes, it was warm, but we planned ahead with fans as favors, and no one cared once they saw the view. The venue itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and laid out so thoughtfully. The getting-ready spaces for both the guys and girls were by far the nicest of any venue we toured. Everything felt peaceful, elegant, and easy. Our guests were in awe — they made a weekend of it and kept telling us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Out of 200 invited, about 120 came, and the entire day felt just right. If you’re looking for a venue that’s stunning, organized, and elegant — without spending $10k just to book it — Cedar Oaks Farm is absolutely the one. I recommend it to anyone who wants the perfect view and a flawless experience.
