Nice party venue, not too costly., An Eventective User from Atlantic, IA

Usually when I travel it is to do presentations or negotiate contracts, so it was a nice change of pace when my boss told me to pack for Atlanta and said he was coming with me. My boss hates travelling, and hasn't been on a sales trip with me since I started(5 years ago). Turns out we were celebrating 10 years with a company and were throwing a small party to celebrate. My boss told me to get an actual party venue and reserve it. I called my mother in law, since she lives in Atlanta, and asked her about any good venues, she didn't know. So, I called her ex, an attorney who I knew did meetings frequently. He recommended a number of places, including Kat's Cafe. When I called, they were polite and courteous and didn't need to transfer me, they knew what they were doing. They had already booked music for the night(yes, live music). The whole reservation process was pretty easy. When we actually arrived they had valet(free) and tons of street parking. As the night went along it was great. The music was great, it was a local band that had decent range. The food was good, however, a lot of the menu was healthier stuff(not my preference), also they had some great pizza. The service was good, with a few great servers, the drinks were spot on(didn't hear of one screw up). The venue itself wasn't the attraction it was the service and the entertainment. For what it was and the cost it was excellent.

WOW!!!...What a great night out! We had a Fantastic Time! The service was great and the LIVE MUSIC will knock you off your FEET! I had NEVER seen anything like it! Kat's Cafe is the place to be in Atlanta...
