I am a painter and graphic designer and my wife also a painter is in marketing. Being tied so closely to the arts we were married at the High Museum of Art last year. Jamie told at the beginning that I would have to do very little in organizing our wedding, the only things I would be responsible for was if something wasn't going Jamie's way I would need to step in and handle it, that and keeping people honest and on schedule. Well, I only had to call them once and it turned out to just be a slight mis-communication on our end and they still accommodated us. Had to call everyone else like four times. The place was gorgeous and very unique, you can just drive there and see for yourself. Regardless of where you get married, Congratulations! And take it from someone how has been there. If something doesn't go your way remember in the end you'll be surrounded by people who love you and you'll be making the commitment to spend the rest of your life with the person of your dreams. And that, in the end is all that really matters.

The High Museum of Art is the perfect place for your next event. Conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, The High offers a centralized location to attract guests from all over the metro area. For business meetings with less than 20 people, professional conference rooms in the heart of the museum provide a professional environment. The atrium can adapt from a general open area to a private venue, equipped with high-top tables for a cocktail reception or tables with seating for a dinner. The courtyard at the High has been used for weddings and receptions. The mild weather in spring and fall, make the open air courtyard very appealing to event planners and their clients. With the fanatastic indoor facilities as rain insurance, the courtyard never disappoints. The events group at the High Museum of Art provides excellent support for decoration, catering and overall facilities planning.
