In our year-round patio Biergarten, with capacity of 70 for seated dinners and 120+ for receptions, we feature one-of-its-kind ambiance - surrounded by soothing greenery and a flowing water fountain. Guests will also enjoy visiting our recently renovated Cellar on the first floor - a room with a bar that can be darkened for presentations and made suitable for smoking patrons. Capacity is 55 for seated dinners and 80 for receptions.

The Solarium is an historic event facility located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia, convenient to public transportation, I-285 and I-20. We can accommodate approximately 150 guests indoors for a buffet reception, and about 200 for a standing, cocktail-type reception. We also have outdoor space that may be utilized for a ceremony and reception.
Rather than packages or in-house vendors, we offer our clients the opportunity to select all their own vendors, including catering, entertainment, and decor; clients may also bring in their own alcohol. Our clients or their designee are responsible for pre-event setup and decoration and for post-event equipment breakdown and facility cleanup.
We offer free on-street and off-street parking, and the Solarium is fully accessible for our disabled guests.
Our facility also includes a bridal suite and a prep kitchen (sink, countertop, refrigerator and microwave).
