The DeVoe Mansion began as a humble 1800's farm house. In 1910 Henry and Emma DeVoe bought the country home and five acres of land and began the work of enlarging and creating the wonderful
A savory DeVoe Mansion breakfast 5,600 square-foot mansion it is today. They named their dream home Villa DeVoe. We serve a leisurely multi-course meal that starts with specialty coffee, fresh fruit, assorted juices and homemade breads or pastries, followed by an entree and side dish that change daily. We use only the finest ingredients available, including fresh herbs and edible flowers that are grown on the property. Cheryl has never been to cooking school — although most guests think she has. She loves to cook and has had recipes printed in more than half a dozen cookbooks and has served as a guest chef on a local cooking show.

You'll find the DeVoe Mansion an ideal site for weddings, receptions corporate retreats, bridal & baby showers, luncheons and afternoon teas. Our experience in planning and organizing functions will make your job much easier. Each event is as different as the people hosting it, so please call us for complete information and rates for your next personal or business affair. To give you a quote we'll need to know the type of event, the total number of guests expected, and the date.

Our spacious dining room is available as well, for breakout sessions, discussions, and meals.Indoor Weddings: We can accommodate up to 25 people for an intimate indoor wedding and/or reception.Outdoor Weddings: We can accommodate up to 100 people for an outdoor garden wedding. We have no covered areas outdoors, so in case of inclement weather you would need to rent tents. We book outdoor weddings June through August only, to increase your chance of good weather.

The private detached bath was once a sleeping porch - so space is not an issue! Bathed in sunlight, this sizable bath features a five-foot garden soaking tub for two and a wrap-around view of the grounds.De Voe Mansion, Tacoma — Originally the master bedroom, Emma's Room features a queen-size antique oak sleigh bed with claw feet and a six-foot garden soaking tub for two. Spacious and serene, this room is an ideal choice whether you're planning a romantic getaway or looking for a relaxing haven after a hectic work dayDe Voe Mansion, Tacoma — Outdoor Weddings: We can accommodate up to 100 people for an outdoor garden wedding. Named for Emma's husband, Henry, it features the oldest bedroom set in the mansion. Built during the civil war, the 1860's pine set still has the original wooden candle holders and drawer handles.
