 1/27/2012 | | "Fantastic Wedding Venue", An Eventective User from Austin, Texas | | The 1899 Farmhouse is a remarkable venue for a wedding and a reception. We were thrilled with the versatility of the location and the flexibility of the owners on what we wanted. The owners are a married couple and are devoted to making other couples special day, just that special! We used the gorgeous gazebo for the ceremony and the lighted pool and bridge to celebrate our reception. We came with a vision of what we wanted, to maintain a level of elegance and sophistication for the wedding and then let loose with the reception and have a great time. The locations they chose and the feedback they gave on what worked in the past was awesome. They spent a lot of time making sure we were satisfied and content what they proposed. We never felt pressured or any stress, they wanted what we wanted and worked hard to make our vision our reality. Beyond this the owners have fantastic relationships with local vendors who share their passion for elegance, love and comfort. We worked through them to get the catering, the cake, the flowers and the photographer. Each of the vendors brought something special to the event and they all worked in conjecture with the others- the flow and timing was amazing. As a new bride I could not ask for more, there was no stress on my special day! Starting my married life with my husband at the 1899 Farmhouse is a blessing I will never forget! |
