Terms
PAYMENTS
Initial non-refundable 50% of contract balance is due upon acceptance
Remaining 50% due at least 30days prior to event.
Payment can be made via e-transfer to info@thechariot.ca
All credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND:
The agreement of the venue is subject to proven detention by accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or any other legitimate conditions beyond their control. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by the venue to reschedule.
Client agrees that in all circumstances, venue liability shall be exclusively limited to an amount equal to the contract fee and that the venue shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any breach of contract.
NO SMOKING & VAPING POLICY:
1. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within the event space premises. This policy applies to all attendees, guests, and staff members.
2. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas, if available. These areas will be clearly marked and communicated to all attendees.
3. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the event space premises without refund or compensation.
4. The event organizer is responsible for communicating and enforcing this policy to all attendees, guests, and staff members.
5. The event organizer shall ensure that appropriate signage is displayed throughout the event space premises, clearly indicating the no smoking or vaping policy.
6. The event organizer shall be held liable for any damages or costs incurred as a result of non-compliance with this policy, including but not limited to cleaning, repairs, or fines imposed by local authorities.
7. The event space management reserves the right to take necessary action, including contacting local authorities, if any individual fails to comply with this policy.
8. By entering the event space premises, all attendees, guests, and staff members acknowledge and agree to abide by this no smoking or vaping policy.
CLEANING
The customer agrees to leave the event space in a clean and tidy condition at the end of their event. This includes but is not limited to removing all trash, debris, and personal belongings from the premises, wiping down surfaces, and sweeping or vacuuming the floors.
Failure to comply with the cleaning requirements stated above will result in the forfeiture of the customer's deposit. The deposit will be used to cover the costs of professional cleaning services required to restore the event space to its original condition.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the customer acknowledges their responsibility for cleaning the event space and understands the consequences of failing to do so.
