Food and Beverage Service - The Club must provide all Food and Beverage served on the premises of Tallgrass Country Club. However, for Wedding Receptions you may bring your own cake, mints and nuts. All banquet and meeting charges will be subject to a 20% Service Charge. Applicable state and local taxes will apply as well.
Guarantee Policy - For all catering functions, attendance will be confirmed fourteen days prior to the function. This number will be considered the final guarantee, not subject to reduction. We will charge for the guarantee attendance, the actual number served or minimum expenditure given in the confirmation agreement, whichever is greater. The Club will not be responsible for service to more than 5% over the guarantee. If our sales office receives no guarantee, we will consider the expected number on the confirmation agreement as the guarantee.
Deposits - A $1000 deposit will be required at the time of booking. An additional deposit may be charged in the amount of 50% of the “Minimum Expenditure” which will be due between your booking and event date. Payment in full for the event will be due seven days prior by cashier’s check, credit card or cash. The deposit and installment payment will be deposited by Tallgrass Country Club and credited to a banquet account in your name. A Sales Confirmation Agreement must be signed and returned with deposit to our sales office to book/hold your event. Due to the popularity of Tallgrass Country Club, dates will not be held more than seven days without a deposit. No representative of Tallgrass Country Club is authorized to make an exception to this policy. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits will be credited to the cost of your event or retained by Tallgrass Country Club if the event is canceled.
Celebration Set Up, Props and Decorating - The Tallgrass Country Club Sales Director must approve all decorations. Please note that
decorations may not be affixed to the walls of the facility, and that glitter, rice, fireworks, silly string, and birdseed are not permitted. If you wish to throw something upon your departure, we suggest dried flower petals. Bubbles may also be used outside the building. Any damages resulting from indoor use of items will be your responsibility. Vendors should visit with the Sales Director prior to the day of the event to schedule when they will be in the building to decorate. Access is never guaranteed unless arranged and cleared with the director. All decorations are to be removed the day/night of the event. Tallgrass Country Club accepts no bailment of any personal property. No representative of Tallgrass Country Club is authorized to accept bailment of any personal property.
