Reverend John Bennett
New Path Ceremonies
Welcome! I'm Reverend John Bennett and I'm a non-denominational minister specializing in personalized wedding ceremonies, vow renewal ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, and bereavement services. I preside over all religious or non-religious ceremonies for all loving couples, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Regardless of your beliefs, I'll work with you to design a personalized ceremony that expresses your relationship and personal spiritual path. I honor and respect all beliefs and traditions ~~ religious, spiritual or secular. I am an advocate for same-sex marriage and holds theses ceremonies in the same fold as any other wedding ceremony ~ equally the same.
Serving the following central Florida counties: Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Indian River and Volusia; and, the cities of: Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Vero Beach, Orlando, and Disney Attractions.
I provide a unique service to the community in that I offer a way to help you create the special occasion YOU desire. The ceremonies I write acknowledge and appreciate that there are many people who are spiritually led, but who are not committed to one religion or church, or who are blending elements from several traditions. I also recognize and respect the truth in all paths.
My ceremonies are best suited for couples who agree that while an exotic venue, fabulous food, gorgeous flowers, and great music support the festivities of the wedding day, the "wedding ceremony" is an everlasting moment in laying a strong foundation for a beautiful union of hearts and souls that will be remembered for a lifetime.
"In most cases the Officiant fee is the least expensive item of all your wedding expenditures. Yet, your Officiant and your ceremony are the two key components in your entire day!" Quoted from Frugal Bride.com
My Fees are structured to support the time dedicated to writing and designing your individualized ceremony. Factors include date, location, travel, and the time required to write and officiate your ceremony.
To reserve a date and time for your ceremony, a minimum deposit of $100.00 must be paid, in advance, at the time and date your ceremony is confirmed. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the date of rehearsal or ceremony. If the remaining balance is not received 14 days before the ceremony date, then the time and date of the reservation may be canceled and may be booked by other parties. Partial payments may be made as long as payment in full is received two weeks prior to the ceremony date. Reservations made with less than 30 days remaining until the ceremony requires a 100% non-refundable payment.
You accept responsibility for the venue where the ceremony is being held and for purchasing items needed to perform any of the smaller ceremonies that you wish to include (i.e., unity candle sets, wine, roses, unity sand sets, breakable glass, hand fasting cords, etc.).
