About HiVE Vancouver
Our large event space is an open and flexible area that can be set up for parties, dinners, fundraisers, presentations, workshops, conferences, and more. The rental includes access to our kitchen and lounge, which can be a great place to set up a more relaxed seating area and a buffet spread.
This HiVE is a non-profit coworking, event, and meeting space with a mission to support and amplify the social impact sector. We host hundreds of events throughout the year in our open, bright and dynamic space, located on the second floor of a beautiful old building on Hastings between Cambie and Abbott. We're always keen to work with events that focus on social impact, sustainability, activism, community development, personal or professional development, networking, and skill-building.
Our space is only available to rent between 5:30pm - 11:00 pm on weekdays and between 8:00am - 11:00pm on weekends. Bookings going later than 11pm are reviewed on a case by case basis. Note: A cleaning fee of $150 will be applied to any booking to cover a deep clean of the space after the event. Renters are responsible for resetting the space (ex// picking up trash, moving furniture back into original positions) before the end of their booking time.
Projector, PA equipment, and meeting rooms are available to rent at an additional cost. We allow you to use any caterer you want and alcohol is allowed with a Special Event Permit. Bathrooms are gender neutral and include a private stall. Please Note: The HiVE is only accessible by going up a long flight of stairs. There is no elevator or lift.
