About Voices of Bud Entertainment

Originally from the Northeast, singer-comedian-impressionist Bud Conover has performed his crowd-pleasing act from Atlantic City to the Catskills of NY and locally here in Tampa. Bud first found his talent for entertaining people at the age of seven. He continued this pursuit through his school years in amateur theater, and during his four years in the United States Air Force, working Officers’ and Enlisted Men’s Clubs on military bases in Texas and New Jersey. Bud’s professional career began in 1979 as an on-air personality for WJLK AM/FM, in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Other radio work included a number one rated morning drive show in the Catskill Mountain Resort Area of Monticello, New York. While in the Catskills, Bud spent five years as the Social Director of two of the largest hotels in the region, The Concord and Fallsview Resort Hotels. Bud also used this time to appear regularly in all of the area’s major showrooms which likely accounts for his remarkable presence on stage. Upon moving to Florida in 1990, Bud joined the on-air staff at WYUU, U92 FM and performed in many local clubs as a single, including the “invented position” of “Tampa Bays Only Singing Bartender,” before teaming up with Andy Stephano to form “The Bud Show”. Bud joined “The Rat Pack Too” in 2003, bringing his dead-on impressions (Sammy Davis Jr. and Louis Armstrong, among others), quick-witted comedy and cover-quality singing to an already solid unit of performers. Upon the retirement of Andy Stefano and the consequent dissolution of Rat Pack Too in 2008, Bud has reinvented himself as a single to form Voices of Bud Entertainment and a new and exciting show “An Evening with Bud Conover”. This show is perfect for all audiences, particularly the “Baby Boomer Set,” and blends the music of the 50’s and 60’s with humor and, of course, Bud’s amazing forty-two celebrity impressions. His current style and show have been compared to the Vegas style of Danny Gans.
