Named after one of the most iconic owners in sports history, George M. Steinbrenner Field is Tampa’s premier special events facility and spring home to the New York Yankees and class A-Advanced affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons. George M. Steinbrenner’s legacy in Tampa is as rich as his character was and his endless pursuit of excellence continues to be carried out by the Yankees organization today.
