Amazing Wedding Day, from Stoney Creek, ON

I was married at the Grand Olympia on October 14th, 2017. My husband Michael and I want to say a huge thank you to Caela (the coordinator), Zaid (Event manager), Patrick (Our wedding supervisor), Lou (our DJ provided by The Grand Olympia), Dave (our officiant provided by The Grand Olympia) and all of the staff who made the day absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived our Supervisor Patrick was with me every minute. He showed us to the room, he did any running around we needed. He and Zaid ensured everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be. I was asked 25 times if I needed anything. When I needed my Father for our first look ,Patrick went running and returned with him moments later. The staff just went above and beyond it was definitely 5 star service all night. My guests couldn't believe it. Some of their table waiters even got their drinks for them from the bar! There were a few snags as there always will be on Wedding days (no chocolate fountain or ice sculpture as included in our package during the late night buffet and our favours were missed being put out until half of the guests had left) but nothing that affected anyone's fun at all. Many guests said it was the best wedding they'd been to, everyone LOVED the food. There was SO much of it. It was all cooked beautifully, and hot on arrival to the tables (plated dinner). They offered seconds to those who could manage (not many could). The bridal suite was huge and beautiful for photos and they provided snacks and sparkling wine for us to get ready with! The decor was beautiful and perfectly arranged. They allowed me to bring in some of my own decor items to combine with their decor items and Caela went above and beyond to ensure my vision was met. I'm so happy that we chose the Grand Olympia. It's not your typical banquet centre, they really do EVERYTHING they can to make your day perfect. They genuinely care and we are SO happy with everything. Thank you

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!!!!!! Over the years, we have been to many functions at the Olympia, and each time has been better than the last! I have always said "when we get engaged I know where our reception will be"! Without a doubt, you made our wedding day a "magical fairy tale" right from our very first meeting to the end of our special day! The staff was amazing, food was hot & plentiful and the hall looked even more beautiful than what I had imagined. We put our total trust into Olympia and you delivered beyond our expectations! Everyone kept saying to us "we are were having a great time and that it is the best wedding that they had ever been too". I still cry everytime I look at the photo's! Anyone wishing to book the "wedding of their dreams", look no further... you have found the place!
