About JumpStart

JumpStart is Northern California’s and Northern Nevada;s premiere party-rock band. Currently residing in the Lake Tahoe area, JumpStart has traveled throughout California and Nevada performing for top corporate events, weddings, nightclubs and parties. With their high-energy and dynamic shows, JumpStart specializes in accurate performances of the best songs of the 70’s, 80’s, 90's and 2000's and covers a wide range of music from The Doobie Brothers to Billy Idol to AC/DC and beyond. Their top musicianship and showmanship results in a 5-piece band that utilizes drums, bass, 2 guitarists, keyboards, percussion and 4 vocalists. Often these five musicians are using all these instruments in the same song! And everything you hear is played 100% live by the musicians on stage—no recordings or backing tracks are used! JUMPSTART is a perennial favorite for weddings, corporate parties and other special occasions, as the band is experienced in “MC”ing the entire event if required, and special songs usually can be performed for the bride and groom and party hosts upon request! We provide a copy of our wedding/party planner to insure that all aspects of your big event runs smoothly. And the party doesn’t stop when the band takes a break, as DJ-style dance music is provided by the band if necessary. JumpStart enjoys and encourages guests to join them on stage to sing, play tambourine or even play their blow-up air guitars, after all it's your party and the band wants to provide a day of entertainment you will never forget. JUMPSTART is professional and easy to work with, and the band has a long-standing reputation for their ability to work closely with the coordinators of every event so that no details are left untouched. The band brings to every show over $25,000 in top-of-line sound and lighting equipment in order to deliver the full impact of the performance to the audience. The band is always appropriately dressed for every event and audience participation is welcome and encouraged at the shows, as their performances are a true party in every sense of the word.
