Terms & Conditions
Advance Bookings: To ensure proper preparation and the highest quality service, we strongly recommend booking well in advance.
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer of $250 minimum is required to secure all bookings. This retainer covers administrative costs and will be applied toward the final balance.
Final Payment: All payments must be received and cleared at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled event date. Services will not be rendered without full payment.
Rescheduling & Credit: Events may be rescheduled once, with credit applied toward a future date within one (1) year of the original booking. Credits are non-transferable.
Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event will result in forfeiture of all payments made. For cancellations made earlier, payments (excluding the non-refundable retainer) may be applied as credit toward a future event.
Guest Count & Changes: A final guaranteed guest count is due seven (7) days prior to service. Increases may be accommodated at the discretion of Occasions By M and may affect final billing. Decreases will not reduce the total invoice after the guarantee deadline.
Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions: While we take great care to accommodate dietary needs, Occasions By M cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Client is responsible for informing guests of this policy.
Liability: Occasions By M is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control (e.g., inclement weather, venue restrictions, power outages). Client assumes responsibility for providing a safe and suitable event space.
Service Fees & Gratuities: Additional service fees may apply for travel, rentals, extended staffing, or premium requests. Gratuity is not included unless otherwise noted.

For our highest tier packages, we offer curated wine pairings that not only complement your meal but also support local charities through our community partnerships. Service is tailored to your event size, with a dedicated chef and server provided for every 10 guests, ensuring attentive care throughout the evening. Additional staffing, service fees, and applicable taxes may apply.

Specialty Cuts & Seafood: Specialty meats and seafood are market price and subject to availability. Occasions By M reserves the right to adjust menus when necessary due to distribution changes or product shortages, ensuring a suitable replacement of equal quality.
Service & Staffing: Staffing is determined by guest count, with a general ratio of 1 chef and 1 server per 10 guests. Additional staffing may incur extra charges. Standard service fees, processing fees, and applicable taxes will be added to the final invoice.
Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions: While we take every effort to accommodate dietary needs, Occasions By M cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Clients are responsible for notifying guests of this policy.
Liability: Occasions By M is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to inclement weather, venue restrictions, or equipment failure. Clients must ensure a safe and suitable event space.
Rentals & Damages: Clients are responsible for any rentals (tables, linens, flatware, glassware, etc.) unless otherwise specified. Any damages to rentals or property caused by guests remain the responsibility of the client.
Leftovers & Food Safety: To protect guest safety, leftovers may be packaged at the client’s request but are consumed at the client’s own risk. Occasions By M is not liable once food has left our care.

Boutique Wedding Terms & Conditions
Menu Development & Tasting: All wedding services require a menu design consultation and tasting prior to final approval. Tasting fees are a standalone cost unless the client proceeds with booking. If booked, the tasting cost will be applied toward the overall event balance.
Commitment Requirement: Because boutique weddings are highly customized, clients must provide upfront commitment to secure services before menu development begins.
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total wedding cost is required to secure the date, reserve staff, and begin menu development. This retainer will be applied toward the final balance.
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full and cleared fourteen (14) days prior to the wedding date.
Guest Count: A guaranteed guest count is required fourteen (14) days prior to service. Increases may be accommodated when feasible and will adjust final billing. Decreases will not reduce the invoice after the guarantee deadline.

Travel fees are assessed based on location and distance, with additional charges applied for extended staffing, rentals, or premium requests.
