Spacious — An Eventective User

We have a big family so we wanted a bigger place to accommodate all of us for Thanksgiving . This place was perfect with the space, amount of tables and chairs, and plenty of ovens/stove tops for cooking everything. We also had use of the basketball court, baseball field, and playground if we wanted to use them. Sherry was very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions! W I would 100% recommend using this place to anyone.

Perfect Spot for Large Staff Meeting — An Eventective User

We needed a last minute reservation for a space to accommodate 100 of our staff. Sherry with the Shady Grove Community Center was very prompt and thorough with her communications and the location was perfect for our meeting. We will definitely consider renting the space again.

The Perfect "Glow" Party — An Eventective User

We had a great experience at this venue. Sherri, the venue coordinator, was professional and a pleasure to work with. The venue is spacious and clean, the kitchen is well stocked with lots of counter space, refrigerators, ovens and stove top burners. Parking is adjacent to the building, outside areas are available for use. The rental cost is reasonable. I highly recommend this venue.

Great place for any kind of event — An Eventective User

We held our family and friends Christmas party this year (about 25 people and kids) at Shady Grove Community Center and everyone was happy and comfortable. The kids had space to place indoors but it was so nice they mostly spent their time on the playground. The kitchen is a dream to cook in; they had the center decorated with a tree, which we could use. I was contacted in advance of the party to see if we needed any thing additional and she was there to unlock for us and again check to see if everything was as we expected. We had a great time and no worries ! I recommend it for any event !

Wedding — An Eventective User

Can't say anything but very good things about Shady Grove Community Center. It was the perfect size and atmosphere for our small family wedding. We would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to focus on the event and not the fancy decorations. The space and restrooms were very clean and the kitchen very ample. Sherry Miles was wonderful to work with also. She is so sweet!

Mom's 75th surprise Birthday Party — An Eventective User from Hagerstown

Oh my gosh, the center was wonderful plenty of space, chairs, and tables and the kitchen was on point for me to be able to heat food and cook what needed to be cooked. PLENTY OF SPACE

Shady Grove Community center — An Eventective User

We had a baby shower last Sunday, in the main building at Shady Grove community center & everything was perfect!! The hall was big & clean & there is a fantastic playground & a lot of room to do whatever you would like. Sherry was very enjoyable to interact with & very attentive. We will plan more events in the future, using Shady Grove community center.
