The Sanford Galleon is a 4,000 square foot event venue overlooking Lake Monroe, featuring a 70-foot wall of floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning water views from a climate-controlled space. It boasts unique architectural elements like circular zones, a tongue-and-groove cedar wood ceiling, and wooden beam chandeliers, all within a nautical theme with pirates, mermaids, and galleon ships in shades of blue, grey, and brown. The venue includes a full bar, changing room, and a separate conference room. Completely remodeled in 2024, it offers a beautifully themed décor.

The Sanford Galleon is such a stunning venue, full of charm and character! I hosted a wonderful event here, and the entire team made the experience seamless. Michelle, the manager, went above and beyond—she responded to my messages even on weekends and holidays, and was incredibly flexible with all my requests. Mitchell and Eric were present throughout the four-hour event, always ready to help with a big smile! As someone visiting from Atlanta, I had forgotten a few things, but they kindly assisted with every little detail. I’m deeply grateful for the entire team at the Sanford Galleon for making my event so special.
