The Hotel itself was build in 1902, and is labeled as "the oldest continuously operating hotel in San Francisco". Our 58 rooms are Victorian style and have a classic SF feel with bay windows. We have hosted many events including photo shoots, paint nights, weddings, receptions, high profile fundraisers, baby showers, family reunions, TV shows and been cast in many independent files, the most recent movie "A Man From Reno".
Our dining room seats 65 seated, in its current seating formation, but has hosted over 100 people for events. The size of our banquet space/dining area stretches from 100ft by 20ft, with the lounge area adding a cozy 20ft x 20ft. We also have a private entry, which is ADA compliant.
Our normal hours of dining operation are Tuesday to Saturday 7-10:30am and 4:30-10pm, and Sunday from 7am-2pm. During Dinner hours we ask for $100 per hour min which can be waived if you will be purchasing food and drinks. During non-normal operation hours we are negotiable. Recently, we have completed new carpet renovations.
There is a private conference room downstairs that fits 18 people. A great space for meeting or staging for a wedding in the city.

Originally built as a mortuary in 1914 and now beautifully renovated by veteran Bay Area restaurateur Jack Knowles, the original chapel with its 40’ high arched ceiling has been updated with state of the art sound, lighting and projection systems. The gorgeous building also houses a restaurant, bar and large patio that combine the warmth of original wood detailing with modern touches and a vibrant social scene. Studio 333 was voted best venue in the bay area to host an event. We are a full service event gallery that has over 4,000 sq. ft. of event space.
Gallery rental includes: indoor and outdoor event space, dance floor, pool table, lounge rooms, tables/chairs, bar, coolers, full kitchen, garden courtyard and large monitor with projector. We also offer in house catering, DJ and a professional photographer available at reasonable rates. You are welcome to bring in your own catering, photographer and band. Clients have also hired "Food Trucks" in the past to set up in the garden area. The gallery can seat 130 guests for a sit down dinner and over 200 people for a buffet style dinner or cocktail party. Studio 333 staff members must be hired to work the event as bartenders/clean up crew and on site coordinator.
