The Upcountry History Museum is a non-profit, independent entity operated by Furman University. Our space is available to be rented for events like Wedding Reception, Community Events, Reunions, Birthday Parties and Company Meetings. We provides services like Personal attention from our professional event manager, Unique venue, theatrical lighting, Large and small rooms for both day and evening rental. Bands, dancing, alcohol and food are allowed at our versatile space. Kitchen and elevator are available. We provide Customized rental packages to fit your needs and budget. We can accommodate 500 of your guests easily.
Woodburn Historic House is a large 4-story greek revival plantation house currently situated on about 11 acres including the main plantation house, log cook house, replicas of the Adger Victorian Carriage house and a slave/tennant house. The site is owned and operated by the Pendleton Historic Foundation as a house musueum. The house was built by C.C. Pickney in about 1830 and later owned by members of the Adger family of Charleston until 1911. The site is idea for events of all sizes and can accomodate up to 400 guests. The house museum first floor is typically opened during events for guests to tour through but food and beverages are not allow inside due to antique furnishing. The grounds are available for rental for events from April - October but the fall schedule is dependent on the Clemson University home football schedule due to the high volume of game-day traffic on US76.

Bent Creek Farm is a rustic romantic venue that is located in the Upstate of South Carolina and is approximately 45 minutes from Clemson, Easley, Greenville, SC or Hartwell, Ga and 29 minutes from Abbeville, SC. The Farm features a spacious barn that can seat up to 150 guest and has a stage. The surrounding grounds spans 52 acres of both woodland and pastures. A creek meanders along the back side of the property and is secluded from neighbors. Amenities include a caterers kitchen, with stove, and refrigerator, trash compactor, two restrooms; a brides room and many other options. If more than 200 guest are invited Tents are an option.
