People Often Ask
We have multiple venues to offer, perfect for any group from 30 to up to 250 attendees. Rates vary depending on the venue space, day of the week, and amount of rental time.
The down payment to reserve a date is 50% of the total rental fee. This, along with a signed contract, is due within 2 weeks of booking.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your scheduled event.
Up to you! Our venues are available at full-day and hourly pricing. Times that you need access to the venue space should be included in your selection of reservation time.
WHC Events Staff will set up the tables, chairs, and equipment included in each rental space before the start of your reservation. We will also break them down once your event has concluded.
If your event requires a reset of the floor plan during the event, it is the renter’s responsibility to move the tables, chairs, etc.
You are welcome to select any caterer you would like. We also have recommendations for catering services that have worked at Willamette Heritage Center in the past.
While we do not offer linen, tableware, or décor rentals, we are happy to point you in the direction of some reputable companies that do.
Yes, WHC does require a general liability policy specifically naming WHC as additional insured for the date(s) of the rental.
Securing insurance may be possible through your insurance agent, and we also have suggestions for other event insurance providers if needed.
Yes, the Willamette Heritage Center allows the service of beer, wine, cider, champagne, and seltzer. OLCC-licensed servers employed by a company registered with the State of Oregon must be hired to conduct alcohol service. We also require event security from our approved Event Security list to be hired from the time the bar opens until the end of the event.
When you check in to your venue, you will receive the direct phone number of the Facilities Staff member who is assigned to your event.
If you need an additional table, assistance with the sound system, or have a question about the venue, you will always have an onsite contact who can assist you.

Thoughtful staff, easy process and beautiful venue

We had a Celebration of Life for our mom who turned 100 last year. When she passed this year, we wanted to honor her with friends and family. In July, we were thankful for the Air Conditioning and Elevators. The park like setting, elevators, historic park like setting, plenty of parking. Heather helped us in every way possible. The media, sound system and friendly staff made the guests comfortable and the event successful.

We booked the Spinning Room for a celebration of life and had an absolutely wonderful experience from step one. Heather was responsive, helpful, patient, and friendly. The space itself is gorgeous and could work for a variety of event types; the room is spacious, the lights are charming, and the projector screens and a/v equipment allowed us to play a memorial video important to our event. We had access to tech help when we had something we couldn't figure out. Truly, the space was perfect for our needs and it was so reasonably priced with such helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I needed a room to host 15 people on really short notice. We had planned a memorial picnic and then a heat wave came, so we wanted to be indoors. I had a response overnight in a holiday week and by mid-day the next day had a room arranged. The room was just great, we were able to bring the food we had already lined up, and the venue had even placed signs around the property so we knew where to go. I couldn't be more impressed with how Eventective and Willamette Heritage Center worked out. Thanks to Heather Ritchie for friendly, efficient correspondence and help!
