Set on five scenic acres, the Willamette Heritage Center (WHC) offers a one-of-a-kind experience. This unique museum features a millrace stream and 14 historic buildings, all of which are recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in the heart of Salem and in walking distance to the Capitol, the WHC provides an ideal setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, corporate meetings, workshops, fundraisers, community gatherings, concerts, and more! The Willamette Heritage Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By choosing to host your event at this historic location, you contribute to maintaining and preserving our community’s historic buildings, collections, and stunning grounds.

People Often Ask

We have multiple venues to offer, perfect for any group from 30 to up to 250 attendees. Rates vary depending on the venue space, day of the week, and amount of rental time.
The down payment to reserve a date is 50% of the total rental fee. This, along with a signed contract, is due within 2 weeks of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your scheduled event.
Up to you! Our venues are available at full-day and hourly pricing. Times that you need access to the venue space should be included in your selection of reservation time.

Gorgeous venue and helpful staff — An Eventective User
We booked the Spinning Room for a celebration of life and had an absolutely wonderful experience from step one. Heather was responsive, helpful, patient, and friendly. The space itself is gorgeous and could work for a variety of event types; the room is spacious, the lights are charming, and the projector screens and a/v equipment allowed us to play a memorial video important to our event. We had access to tech help when we had something we couldn't figure out. Truly, the space was perfect for our needs and it was so reasonably priced with such helpful staff. Highly recommend.
