Our Compliments to the Chef! - An Eventective User from St Paul, MN

My daughter chose Southview Country Club primarily because the chef was so knowledgeable and accommodating around concerns of food allergies and her celiac disease, and was on board with providing a 100% gluten free evening. The bride had difficulty selecting menu choices for her big day only because there were so many gluten free options available! As mother of the bride, I couldn't be more pleased because not only was the food safe for our daughter and multiple guests who also have celiac disease, but perfectly timed, hot, and delicious! We received rave reviews about the food from many, many guests, which is rare when a group of 200 is being served. The salmon, steak, and chicken options were all beautifully plated and again, just so delicious, which made us happy as hosts of the event. The nachos brought out midway through the dance definitely were a hit as well! The grounds were also more beautiful than anticipated--we booked the venue in the middle of winter, during a sleet storm, and hoped online pictures would hold true; the entrance and grounds for our July event were in bloom, beautiful and welcoming! Guests appreciated having the outdoor patio as the weather was so nice. Definitely recommend!
