At 2720 there is an extremely enlightening aura at this venue to have a concert at. They play music of all types from new electronic music to punk rock, to blues and jazz. When you enter this building which is aptly named after its address on 2720 Cherokee Street, you can tell that the entire atmosphere of the venue promotes a sense of creativity and wholesomeness that you see rarely in the business world. There is a bar in the back that is off-limits to minors. It is an 18+ venue. The stage is a very wide platform that you can place whatever equipment you need on it with ample room to move around on. I've been to this location numerous times. Every time I go is a great experience. The best part of the whole thing is that entry is always kept to a low amount. One time I went it was $3, another time $5, and another time it was $8. Another great addition to this venue is that they are open every single night. I believe on Friday is punk night and Tuesday or Wednesday night is jazz night, Saturday nights are normally electronic music. They also have jam bands that come in and play on different occasions. There are plenty of places to sit and chill and talk to friends, and there is also a massive dance floor that you can get your groove on at. I can assure you that the atmosphere in 2720 is an extreme delight.
