The Rainbow Room, An Eventective User from St. Charles, IL

The Rainbow Room in Hotel Baker is a beautiful example of historic Gatsby-era architecture. The food was wonderfully unique, not the standard wedding menu, with more than enough options to choose from: every guest was able to have a great dinner. Hotel Baker' staff was attentive without being pushy or over-bearing. The kitchen staff especially outdid themselves with each successive course. The room itself was as unique as the food: the oval shape, the balcony ringing the room, and the colorful tiles of the floor. It exudes the grace and elegance of the 1920s with all the technological conveniences of the twenty-first century.The Rose Garden outside the Rainbow Room is just as beautiful as the ballroom, and has amazing views of the Fox River. The overall night was fantastic. The wedding package is nearly all-inclusive, and much, much more so than other venues in the area. Guests enjoyed the entire night, from the cocktail hour to dinner, to the cake to dancing. Speaking of the cake, it was absolutely stunning, exactly how I imagined. The downtown area of St. Charles was equally charming. My guests enjoyed spending the weekend exploring the boutiques and shops in historic St. Charles. The children of the group loved playing on the many of the nearby parks and playgrounds. I would definitely host another event at Hotel Baker. And I suggest it to all of my friends and co-workers. It was an amazing experience!
