The Livermore Pavilion can accommodate up to 250 guests indoors or up to 350 guests outside in our Stratford Gardens.
The Garden Room can accommodate 80 guests seated indoors and up to 120 guests for a reception on the outdoor patio.
Our indoor venues come with tables, chairs, heating, air-conditioning, a complete stereo sound system*, AV screen*, microphones*, an ice machine, outdoor heaters, market umbrellas and more. Our free private parking lot features 98 spaces.
Generally your event will be anywhere from 2-4 hours long.

The Livermore Pavilion
Ideal for weddings and special occasions, is spacious and airy with a wall of sliding glass doors that open out onto the Livermore deck and Stratford Gardens. The inside accommodates up to 250, outside 350 people. Two gas-fired rustic stone fireplaces heighten the ambiance — one inside and the other on the deck. Clear sheets may be extended to enclose the outdoor deck in case of rain or chill, and hanging heaters further warm the area. A separate bride’s dressing room, sound system, AV screens and commercial kitchen facilities are available as well.
The Garden Room
The Garden Room has a beautifully appointed interior, lovely landscaped front and rear garden patio area, a brightening skylight, separate Bride’s Room, outdoor built-in bar, and a fully equipped commercial kitchen. The Garden Room is elegant but maintains a relaxed atmosphere with French doors, a gas fireplace, recessed lighting and lush garden setting. It’s air-conditioned for the warmer months and centrally heated for the colder months. The Garden Room can accommodate up to 80 guests seated indoors and up to 120 guests if utilizing the outdoor patio as well. The Garden Room opens out to an expansive garden patio which features redwood trees, a water fountain, numerous flowers and flourishing shrubs to heightening the natural garden feel. There is also an enclosed and similarly adorned rear garden patio, included with the rental of the Garden Room.
Once you choose your reception venue you may then choose from our several other breathtaking outdoor locations to hold your ceremony. The Stratford Garden, Gazebo Lawn and Fountain Pond are the most popular ceremony sites. We also offer a buyout of the grounds to ensure there is no other event on the grounds while your wedding is taking place. All weddings booked include a day-of house manager to tend to any facilities’ needs, plus use of our well stocked event equipment.

To summarize, MAGC is a non-profit cultural center that sits on 11 acres of well-maintained beautiful gardens. There are two lovely well-appointed indoor venues, the Garden Room and the Livermore Pavilion. The Garden Room has a capacity for indoor seating of up to 80 guests and up to 120 with the outdoor rustic courtyard. The Livermore Pavilion can accommodate up to 180 guests indoors and it also includes an outdoor lawn and gardens that may accommodate up to 350. We also have additional sites on our property for ceremonies, such as the Gazebo and the Fountain Pond. You may also choose to buyout the grounds to ensure there is no other event and you are able to use all areas.
We recommend that you make an appointment to tour the grounds as soon as possible. We are in the office Tuesday through Saturdays for guided tours. Pricing sheets are attached for rental rates. In addition to what is reflected on the pricing sheet, the rental fee includes a house manager, white chairs, tables, umbrellas, parasols, air-conditioning, indoor heat, outdoor heaters, brides room, handicapped access restrooms, and an ice machine, just to name a few. All prices are based on a six-hour event, in addition to 2.5 hours for set-up and 1.5 hours for cleanup.
