*We are accepting reservations online at themeetingpointmn.com For guest count (70-120 - including "open house style"), a phone or email consultation is required *NOT DISPLAYED* The Meeting Point is a new versatile, self-service event space, that does not require food or beverage minimums! Guests are provided a lockbox code prior to event and have full private access to the space for the duration of event. The space features state-of-the-art technology for video, photos and sound system, large catering prep kitchen (no ovens) included in your rental. Beautifully furnished, the space offers seating for up to 62 guests as part of the base rental price ($59 weekday (Mon - Thurs) / $89 weekend (Fri-Sun)), which includes 48 chairs, 9 six-foot tables, high-top table seating 8, plus the couch/lounge chairs seating 8. Extra chairs and tables are available and can be provided for an additional rental fee. Full day rentals (7 am to 10 pm) are discounted. Bring your own already-prepared food and beverages; alcohol is also allowed onsite, or you may work with our preferred caterer/bartender. If you hire a caterer, they MUST remove and dispose all of the garbage with them at their own facilities to avoid additional disposal fees as we do not charge extra caterer's fees and we allow any caterer you prefer. There is a full caterer’s kitchen with commercial-grade refrigerator and freezer, and convection microwave (sorry, no open-flame cooking and no ovens). A large 12' pass-through counter has plenty of space for food presentation. Your rental includes the disposal of up to two 55-gallon garbage bags that our staff will remove. Anything above this will be charged an extra disposal fee of $25/bag, or you can remove it offsite to your own location to avoid the fee. Allow enough time for cleaning before your checkout time, and leave the space in the same condition and cleaning standard it was found upon arrival to retain your deposit. Cleaning fees WILL be deducted from the deposit if the space is not cleaned before the departure time, or you may choose to hire our cleaning crew to take care of cleaning for you for an additional fee. Everything was Perfect - An Eventective User

Stacy couldn’t have been more helpful. From first contact to follow-up contacts, she stayed in touch, and her response to my inquiries were almost immediate! The space worked well for our Celebration of Life for my mother. I didn’t know how many people were coming, so Stacy set it up for 96 seated guests. We took down a few tables when we arrived for better flow, but it was nice to have them in case we needed all the tables. We were able to play background music through the easy to use sound system, and play a slideshow of memories on all 4 TVs from my laptop. The acoustics of the room make it possible for everyone to hear, as long as the person speaking is loud enough. The small seating area made it possible for people to sit and talk in a more intimate setting. The kitchen setup was wonderful. The center island was a great area to set up extra items, and we used the front of the counter to serve the buffet and the back to set up a bar. Be aware: there is nothing there to keep food warm, as it is only a catering kitchen. But the refrigerator and freezer were more than large enough for our supplies that needed to stay cold. There was plenty of parking available because the Speedway next door (at this time) is not in business. The two bathrooms were plenty for the group. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. I am so glad that I found The Meeting Point for our gathering. The price is very affordable and the service and response from Stacy were faultless.
