We perform all the South Carolina Jail and Prison Inmate Marriages in Kansas that allows remote Proxy/Phone Marriages with inmate written consent to the marriage, and permission to the Proxy to speak, two witnesses, the fiancee, and the Officiant, not a notarized Affidavit, at Maggie Grebe Memorial Park. The US Supreme Court Ruling (Turner vs Safley) declared that marriage is a fundamental right and permission is not needed from the Correctional Facility. The Full Faith and Credit Clause of the US Constitution guarantees acceptance by the Jail or Prison of all legal marriages in another State. Both are confirmed by our lawyers! Call us seven days a week from 8-9. If you get the voice mail you MUST leave a message in the event that caller ID doesn't pick up your number. I am aware of the confusion and misinformation on the internet especially from lawyers, Court Websites, DOC Websites, Online Ministers, other States, and Proxy/Phone Marriage Information. Be aware that Utah Inmate Marriages are not legal without a court form signed and notarized by the Warden and the scanner does not accept the inmate ID and South Carolina notary policy does not allow the notarization of any marriage affidavit, and the Officiant must hear and see both parties. Don't believe the Utah Officiants because they don't tell you that if the Warden calls the Court and informs them of the marriage and the form was never properly completed and filed with the Court, your marriage will be revoked. You can't take that chance! Google is wrong in stating that SC inmates can get married by Proxy in Texas, Colorado, Montana, and California. We do all the Proxy Marriages in Kansas. Correctional Facilities Will NOT approve inmate marriages, because South Carolina Courts will not issue marriage licenses to inmates, and will deny fiancee visits because only blood relatives and spouses can get on the visiting list and send the inmate money. SC Chaplains confirmed that marriages are not allowed! Rachelle McKinney posted on 6-13-24 that she was informed by SCDOC that no inmate marriages are allowed! If you and your fiance got your marriage license before the inmate got locked up, you can't legally get married with a SC Marriage License, unless you, the inmate, and the Notary/Ordained Minister are together at the time of the ceremony. It is confirmed by the South Carolina US Attorneys Office that all inmate marriages are approved by the US Supreme Court, and that all legal marriages in one State, have to be accepted in another State. Calls are accepted from US numbers only! Can SC Prison and Jail inmates get married? The Answer is YES! Effective 10-4-2025, a $100 Non-Refundable Consultation Fee is Required to start the Process, and with the Marriage License, Certificates, and shipping fees, etc the total fees are generally $200-$300 For US to US shipments. Lawyers and online chat rooms recommend us! We do ALL Prison Marriages for ALL States that don't allow Inmate Marriages, if they can be done legally thru another State. We perform ceremonies Saturday and Sunday nights! Marriage may be required for Interstate Compact. We are not affiliated with SC DOC. Proxy and Remote Marriages may not be accepted for Immigration. Kansas law allows phone, zoom, and Proxy Marriage for the Kansas ceremony (I will explain). All Guests are allowed. The inmate can be anywhere! Marriage Licenses are ordered online and emailed to the fiancee One week later the License is received by the Court from me you must get certificates from another Kansas agency following my instructions ONLY. Permission ONLY from the inmate is required for the Proxy.. Marriage may be needed for interstate compact and for the inmate to live with the other party. For other Countries, you must check with your Country on acceptance of US Marriages. Valid English Govt Issued Picture ID required! Rev. Byron is the only BRW Approved DOC Wedding Officiant! We are not affiliated with SC DOC.

The Real Way — An Eventective User from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Thanks to God and Rev. Byron for finally getting us married. We tried everything else that we saw and heard about and it was a complete waste of time. All we needed was a little time, a little money, and alot of patience, and we got it done. Trudy and Andy
Finally married after all these long years — An Eventective User from Columbia, South Carolina
After getting the run around from the Prison, Lawyers, and online Officiants for many years, we finally spoke to Rev. Byron who explained to us that all South Carolina inmate marriages are done thru Kansas with the Officiant, a Proxy approved by the inmate, two witnesses, and the fiancee. I ordered the Marriage License online and they emailed it to me, and we had the ceremony at Maggie Grebe Memorial Park in Opolis, Kansas with guests present. Terra and Calvin
