The Office of University Events & Conferences strives to promote University of Portland's mission as it plans, manages, implements, and oversees a variety of events for internal and external audiences. Major events include: Commencement Weekend, Alumni Reunion, Junior Parents Weekend, Freshman Orientation, and Founders Day. University Events also oversees various building dedications, concerts and festivals, lectures, dignitary visits, athletic pre-game events, literacy and job fairs, academic competitions, and numerous conferences. University Events & Conferences is the central source for reserving rooms and resources for internal events as well as off campus visitors.
