Best Place to Have a Wedding in North Texas, An Eventective User from Rockwall, Texas

If you are having a vintage wedding, Event 1013 is the place for you! Found in downtown Plano, this venue is filled with all kinds of vintage charm! The interior has exposed brick, a video wall, vintage furniture, and state-of-the art lighting displays. This place is perfect for both receptions and ceremonies. The staff is easy to work with and they are very fast to respond to any questions or concerns you might have. Event 1013 is the perfect place to make your wedding a day that everyone will always remember. The venue comes with a large room in the front, a kitchen, a lounge room, one men's room, one ladies room, and a "raw garden" in the back. Also, there is a condo near by for the bride to get ready. This place is the perfect blank canvas for you to make your wedding unique and your own. Packages for renting this venue are very reasonable and great for a bride on a budget.


Rustic and Memorable, An Eventective User from Garland, Tx

I would highly recommend this venue to all blushing brides with a sense of connection to the past. With hardwood floors and original antique fixtures throughout, the place is just simply lovely. Additionally, if you are eco conscious - its renovation was done with eco friendly and sustainable companies - they even have a live garden in the back which I was shown during my first interaction with them - it made me fall in love with event1013. The staff at event1013 are highly accommodating and very knowledgable - extremely helpful for those who don't really know what's going on and are planning the wedding for themselves!! The space is very intimate and really allowed all of my guests to feel a touch of personalization though out the wedding ceremony. I mean, we had a small ceremony, less than 100 people but it was such a great day for me! You bring in your own caterer and have to dispose of your own trash, but if you find the right company then this is a non issue. However, something that I did consider an issue was the parking in downtown Plano! While event1013 does offer valet services at an additional cost, I found this to be too steep for my budget and declined. I would suggest that anyone going forward and considering this location to include valet parking within their budget because it is practically impossible to find parking at night and you do not want your guests to be bothered with such a daunting task. Additionally, make sure your photographer comes and checks out the place to make sure they understand the lighting they are dealing with and get some ideas of pictures - mine was great! I also loved the acoustics of the place and the way the music sounded - it was a great night of dancing the night away.
