Our wedding day at Golden Eagle Golf Club was perfect. Lamica went above and beyond in helping coordinate our day for us at this venue. She met with us several times before our day to discuss timelines, menu options and venue logistics. We even got to have a taste testing before hand. The team helped make our day seamless. We received many compliments from our guests that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The venue itself was also beautiful, located in the mountains with a beautiful ceremony backdrop, and twinkle lights in the reception hall. Very reasonably priced as well. We recommend this venue 10/10!

I cannot recommend Golden Eagle GC enough. Lamica made the entire process incredibly easy and was there for every step of the way. She's incredibly responsive and answered every question we had immediately (and we had a lot!). The venue was beautiful, the staff were outstanding, and the recommended vendors exceeded our expectations (especially DJ Dan). All of our guests raved about the food, the picturesque scenery around the venue, and how smoothly the wedding flowed (all thanks to Lamica). I would highly recommend getting the helicopter package as this was another one of our highlights. Worth every penny! Lamica was also incredibly accommodating with wedding surprises. I'm not sure how she keeps everything organized and didn't slip up, but she deserves recognition for that alone! 10/10 would divorce just to marry my wife here again!

We had our wedding celebration on Feb 17th... Since the day we went to see the place for the first time, Lamica made us feel like home. She was so organized! She showed us the place, and clearly walked us through all the details. She gave us recommendations about what to do and where we should not waste money. She suggested some people to work with, and all of them were so professional. During the day, the team took care of everything! We didn't have to worry about anything at all! We recently had our wedding at Golden Eagle and the experience was incredible. From the beginning, Lamica, our day-of coordinator, was a dream to work with. She responded quickly and provided a lot of insight and advice when it came to the wedding planning process. She has lots of experience and you can tell she is very passionate about her job. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day which set things out of schedule but Lamica and the team at Golden Eagle did not miss a beat. Their contingency plan with the rain still allowed for our outdoor ceremony to go smoothly as they quickly shifted guests/vendors out of the rain and we even had guests say that the rain added a certain charm to the ceremony. The food at Golden Eagle Golf Club was delicious and we had so many rave reviews from our guests. My biggest piece of advice- order double the amount of hor d’oeuvres for cocktail hour because they were delicious and guests will definitely have seconds! The reception room is a beautiful and has it’s own charm; we wanted rustic farmhouse vibes with lots of white and that’s exactly what the room came with. Guests loved how close the dance floor was to the bar and that everything was so cozy. The venue came with a day-of coordinator, amazing staff, tents for the outdoor ceremony(really important rain or shine as guests do not want to be in the sweltering heat), a beautiful reception room, delicious food and a helicopter package. We would highly recommend Golden Eagle Golf Club as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a seamless wedding planning process. Thank you to Lamica and her team!!

Stunning Venue!! — An Eventective User from Burnaby

We are SO happy with our decision to host our ceremony and reception at this beautiful venue. Lamica the events manager was so professional and easy to work with. She was very quick to respond to our emails and was open to additional meetings we requested to go over the plan for the day. The views at the golf course are stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Additionally we could not pass up on the helicopter ride and upgraded to have both the photographer and videographer and we are thrilled with the content we have received thus far for sneak peaks. The guests have RAVED about the food and how quick the bar line moved. The staff was all super professional and made the day run extremely smooth. The late night snacks were also a huge hit!! We also were maxing out the reception space with 150 guests but the staff and my planner made it seamless with the removal of two tables and opening up the dance floor after dinner. The space for reception is already so beautiful so we really saved money on decorations as it did not need much. I recommend this venue 1000%!! Thank you Golden eagle staff and Lamica for making our wedding amazing!!!

Golden Eagle Golf Club was absolutely AMAZING! We planned our wedding all the way from Nebraska so it was extremely stressful at first trying to find a venue. Once we found Golden Eagle, we scheduled a Facetime call with Lamica and she did a great job walking us though the venue and answering all of our questions. Lamica went above and beyond to keep everything organized and make sure we had everything we needed to make our wedding day go smoothly without any Issues. The actual wedding day far exceeded our expectations. Lamica kept everyone organized and made sure we stayed on schedule. The food was AMAZING, the views were incredible, and the reception venue was perfect. A helicopter picked us up from the golf course and took us to the top of the mountains to take pictures right after the ceremony during our cocktail hour. It was unbelievable. We literally have nothing bad to say about this venue. 100/100 rating!

We were blown away with the service level from start to finish. GE stood out right away amongst others due to the highly informative tour with Lamica, who was super personable, organized, and professional. Lamica is an amazing coordinator who made us feel comfortable and gave us a lot of flexibility - it was clear she had our best intentions and wanted this day perfect for us. She is so easy to work with and always willing to work with and accommodate our needs. She is extremely timely with her email responses and always provided lots of useful advice and support. The ceremony site is naturally beautiful (and tented) and there was already lots of decor provided in the reception room- which helped us save money for decor. Our guests all really enjoyed the food, which was extremely generous in portions and served fresh and hot. The courses were well-timed, and the bar/kitchen staff were friendly and efficient. They also offer a helicopter tour as part of an add-on which was so memorable and unique. They have a list of preferred vendors and we were able to find the most amazing Photo/Video team, and DJ on there. A very minor annoyance was there were mosquitoes outdoors which is not their fault since this location is by bodies of water - so just be prepared for that. Overall, we were beyond impressed with every aspect of this venue and we wholeheartedly recommend Golden Eagle as your next event venue!

Our wedding at Golden Eagle Golf Club was 2 weekends ago, yet all of our guests are still talking about the special day! Lamica was so amazing and helpful throughout the journey and this day could not have happened without her support. She guided us throughout the whole process and was always available to answer our many questions. She made sure every detail was perfectly addressed and she was clearly experienced in wedding planning. The location of the venue was gorgeous and we could not have asked for better scenery. Many of our guests said our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they have attended! Being swept away in a helicopter after the ceremony felt like a dream! Also, a huge shout out to the chef because the food was amazing. The guests are still raving about the food! He was so accommodating to meet different dietary needs. Working with Golden Eagle for our wedding was an absolute pleasure. Friends of ours got married there last summer and referred us to go check it out and meet the team. The first time we met at the venue Lorae & Lamica took the time to sit with us, go through a slideshow and show us what a wedding at Golden Eagle would look like. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming, but we knew we were in great hands and Lamica made the entire process enjoyable. Lamica is really friendly, approachable, organized, thorough and fast at answering any questions you may have. We felt heard throughout the process and nothing was ever pushed on to us – they accommodated everything so that we could have the perfect day to fit our needs. The most valuable aspect was the day-of-wedding coordinating where Lamica organized everything, including ceremony, guests, reception, coordinating with vendors etc. She was there with us till the very end of our evening making sure everything went to plan and filling any gaps where need be. The property was beautiful and the food (+ service) was great – we received many compliments from our guest how great the food was and how friendly everyone was. We are so thankful we got the opportunity to have our wedding at Golden Eagle and we would recommend this venue + the team to anyone who is planning a wedding :)

Wedding of Melody & Ryne July 2021 — An Eventective User

Having our wedding at Golden Eagle was an absolute dream. The scenery, the welcoming staff - everything went off without a hitch. Lamica was so attentive and worked with us on every little detail in order to make sure our wedding was perfect. She even answered our emails on her days off, which was highly appreciated and she absolutely did not have to do. We took a ride up in SKY helicopters as part of our package, which made for the best wedding photos atop the snowy mountain. The food was also amazing - we had the AAA Beef Sirloin and the Wild Salmon and I wish I could enjoy the meal again. I would highly, highly recommend this venue to all of my friends - it was a magical day!

Best place to have a COVID-friendly wedding ceremony! — An Eventective User from Port Coquitlam, BC

My husband and I just got married at Golden Eagle Golf Club on September 12, 2020. Due to COVID, we actually ended up cancelling our original ceremony/reception plans at a different venue and calling up GEGC in May to rebook just a ceremony. We chose this site because they had a large, covered outdoor space and a ceremony only option. The deck and tented area is perfect for physical distancing your guests and can be used rain or shine, so no need to come up with a weather plan 'B' for your special day. The ceremony package included white folding chairs, a speaker if you needed it, registry signing table with linen, easels for your signs, more tables with linens if you needed them (to put out favors, guestbook, etc.). Lorae was who we initially spoke to and met for the tour but Lamica was our actual Wedding Coordinator. She was awesome! I think I must have sent her over 20 emails between June and our wedding day with tons of questions. She answered them always within a day. She helped us arrange a champagne toast after our ceremony with our guests and even helped us arrange dinner for after our rehearsal with only a few days notice. We ate with our wedding party out on the ceremony deck, so everyone could space out and ordered food from the on site restaurant. It was all individually packaged and she even setup a few tables and chairs for us to use. Lamica setup all of our decor, favors, etc. on the day of the wedding and I could relax getting ready with my girls because I knew we were in good hands. Her communication was great and she is extremely organized. Everything went perfectly and If we had to complain about anything, it would be the poor Wi-Fi/cellular signal connection. With COVID, we were hoping to live stream our ceremony to guests that we couldn't have there in person and we couldn't do it. We recorded it then posted it afterward, which was still fine but a live stream would have been nice. All in all though, 5 star experience with the team at GEGC! :)

Golden Eagles Golf Club My experience with Golden Eagles was out of this world. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the venue, about the wedding planners or the staff. We had the most positive experience I ever could have imagined. Weddings are very stressful and can be a chaotic time but working with Lorae and Lamica at Golden Eagles Golf Club was a dream- they both had everything so organized, I was extremely impressed and I have definitely been obsessed with organization during this process! Lorae and Lamica are both so kind and pleasant and do everything to make sure your wedding day is the best day ever, rain or shine! I was so impressed by the staff and how they tended to my wedding guests and my husband and I. We had so much fun at our wedding and they recommended the DJ to us: Dan Stanley (nightmoves@shaw.ca) and we ended up using and loving him! I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding that wants to stay on a budget and have great fun dance music from all eras! Lamica and Lorae understood our desires for the wedding day and helped us to make all our dreams come true from decor to food to photos. Do not hesitate to book this venue it was absolutely beautiful even on January 25th when it was overcast, cold and wet we had the most stunning photos by @jaleesamatteazziphotography and I wouldn’t change a thing! The outside of this venue is so breathtaking from the mountains to the expanse of grass and even the trees and sky around the golf course make for amazing shots. We did all the decor ourselves and the girls and the venue catered to everything we desired, the tables and white table cloths, the room, the lighting all helps to make the reception room so magical and beautiful with just simple greenery and candles. I loved it all. I recommend this venue 100%!!!

I can’t get over how fantastic this venue was, the location is perfect. Lorae was hands down the best part. She was so helpful from start to finish, she replied quickly to all my emails and took total charge the day of. If anything went wrong I had no idea!
