Congratulations and Welcome to SomePlace Nice! We're excited to share our "Special Place" for your "Special Day"! We are a Family Owned & Operated Venue. Our Gambrel Style barn was inspired by an original 100 yr. old barn on the Family Farm. The Barn is totally custom built and climate controlled. All materials were "Custom cut" to our specifications! We expanded the original barn dimensions to an incredible 13000 sq ft. consisting of the Main Floor, Balcony Area and Full Basement. There are 3 Ceremony options available... Upon your arrival, you'll notice the peacefulness of being in the country. Located only 15 minutes from town, the country setting is heavenly, calming and convenient. As you enter the venue through the double 9' doors, take a moment, imagine how amazing & memorable your "Special Day" will be! Our most popular Ceremony option is "The Main Level" inside the Barn. "The Main level" was designed specifically with you in mind, "The Bride to be", or as our granddaughter lovingly refers to as, "The Princess". The center aisle is almost 16 feet wide by 70 feet long! The aisle is illuminated by a gorgeous Chandelier, adorned with sparkling crystals, suspended from one of five custom timber trusses. The main level is over 5500 sq. ft. with massive 32' ceilings, you'll see there's plenty of room to celebrate and dance the night away! Walking the aisle towards the stage you'll notice our impressive 50" fireplace flanked by French doors leading out to the spacious wrap around deck for relaxing while enjoying natures beauty and serenity. The deck leads to our attached outdoor area & #2 Ceremony option we refer to as "The Pavillion". Or use the 2400 sq. ft. covered patio as a place to play games, hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Weather permitting, simply open the two large 15' barn doors, allowing guests to come and go as they please between the Pavillion & Barn! Additional Main floor amenities are, a fully equipped kitchen, Bar and Rest Rooms. The Twin Double custom staircases lead you to the Balcony level where you'll find a large area, suitable for up to 12 additional tables in addition to over 60' of "Live Edge" bar (Harvested from trees on the Farm). The amazing Bridal Suite is on this level, sharing a Jacuzzi & Shower equipped bathroom with an adjoining room used for Groomsmen or Bridal party overflow. We are SUPER excited to introduce our 3rd Ceremony option, we call "Natures Chapel"! Enter through custom barn doors to a winding path, beneath the Hickory, Oak and Walnut trees, to a beautiful stage, nestled between a pair of 100-year-old Oak Trees... Do not invest in decorations without visiting the "Decoration Room" on the basement level, consisting of decor ranging from burlap to Lace, and wood slabs to Crystal and China. Lots of greenery & Floral arrangement too! And at NO ADDITIONAL COST. We hope you appreciate the effort, thought and consideration used in an attempt to fulfill every need possible to make your "Special Day" as relaxing, memorable and affordable. Future plans for the basement include, expansion of the decoration room, a Men's dressing room, game room and playground area.
