About Parksville Museum

Is it your dream to get married in a little white chapel? Then look no further than Parksville Museum's Knox Church. Built in 1911 and moved to Craig Heritage Park in 1983, Knox Church is beloved within the community. Restored and maintained by museum staff, come be a part of history and choose Knox Church as your ceremony venue! Located on professionally landscaped and maintained grounds, the Courtyard contains flowering, blossoming flowers, bushes, and trees, a bubbling, natural stone fountain, and a grassy lawn. Perfect for pictures! The courtyard is also framed by Museum Heritage buildings (for example: a red firehall, an old schoolhouse, and even an 1885 log house). The inside of the Knox Church features dark wood paneling, original stained glass windows, and 1950s light fixtures from a Vancouver Hudson's Bay. The replica wooden pews seat 75 and can be reconfigured to your liking. The church's carillon can be programmed to play many different tunes, so you can personalize the chiming, celebratory church bells. We're looking forward to hosting your ceremony!
