$2800 for a Friday through Sunday weekend. We offer a beautiful Kansas farmstead overlooking prairie pastures and the Delaware River valley near Lake Perry in Ozawkie, KS. Our facilities include a turn of the century big red barn, a nearby two-bedroom white cottage, an open air pavilion and more. Our gift to you is time....with one affordable price that includes use of Just the Place for an entire weekend! Imagine this itinerary: Rehearsal and dinner Friday evening, then bride and bridesmaids spend the night in the house, finalizing plans and ideas for the big day. Saturday morning decorate with friends, and maybe catch a little nap before time to put on your wedding dress. Saturday afternoon or evening, watch from inside the brown stone house as guests arrive and take their seats in the beautiful old oak pews on the hill in front of the pavilion. The bride and bridesmaids walk, escorted from the brown stone house to begin the ceremony. Say your vows under the setting sun with magnificent views of nature as your background. The newly married couple leads guests down a short path through the prairie to the reception barn for food, drink, dancing and celebration late into the night. Dance under the stars on the outdoor patio, then when you're too tired to stand, cozy up around the big fire pit and talk with your closest friends and family into the wee hours of the morning. Don't even think about the clean up....you have friends and family that want to see you! After a peaceful night, and sleeping in late Sunday morning, wake up to a farm fresh morning. Close friends and family arrive to help with the clean up and cooking up a nice breakfast in the fully furnished kitchen. At some point you will be ready to leave, but there is no hurry, no deadline. This really is Just the Place for a perfect wedding experience!
