My sister in-law lives in Iowa and when her and her husband got married they chose a location that was out of state but still quite close to where they live in Iowa. They chose the Crowne Plaza, Omaha, Nebraska near Council Bluffs. They did not have a lot of money to spend for their wedding and reception and this ended up being a beautiful fit for them. They offered so many things to them at a fairly low cost. It was a great value for the money because you would have paid much more in a larger city for not as much service. The wedding couple even got a free suite for booking their reception there and the guests that chose to stay even got a discount. There was a One hour cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception that the couple got to choose from many options. The cocktails were really good and the hors d'oeuvres were really great as well. It was a formal sit down dinner and they got to choose from many delicious and low cost options and there were no complaints from any of the guests. It was in a great location and so people that came from out of town had a lot of great options for when they were waiting for the wedding reception. The staff took care of everyone's needs with smiles on their faces and got things done quickly. The room that they used was elegant and plenty big for a large group that included having a DJ set up for dancing. Overall it was a great experience for the guest and for the wedding party and the bride and groom.
