I love Indian Food but it hard to find a good place to Indian Restaurant north of Devon. Most of my girlfriends never ate Indian food because they are cautious eaters. I am an adventurous eater and I have eaten Indian food on many occasions and I have tried many dishes at Himalayan Restaurant. We order both the Vegetarian Thali and both Non-Vegetarian Thali. We also ordered Fish Curry and Goat Curry. We ordered extra naans and also we each tried a type of lassi. I had a mango lassi and two friends had the sweeten lassi and those who were not adventurous they had soda or just water. My good friend is on a diet so she prefers to eat her few calories, lol. Please bear in mind that Indian food is not for the calorie counter in your life unless he or she decides to let loose that night. We also had dessert Gulab Jamun, Kulfi (Pistachio or Mango) and Rasmalai. I think we ordered too much food but we thoroughly enjoyed or meal and made plans to go back at least once a year for a good Indian Meal. Also, if you are timid to try Indian food their lunch buffet may be the best choice as it provides excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.
