Fabulous 80th birthday party — An Eventective User from Newmarket, NH

We enjoyed a fun-filled evening with many of our closest friends and relatives to celebrate a landmark birthday at the historic Rockingham Ballroom. Everything was perfect, including the planning, communicating with event coordinator, access for decorating and setting up food, cleaning up mishaps, and making sure that everything was done without us having to lift a finger! Robin, Pam and Jim were the most accomodating hosts, and I would highly recommend them and this venue for any event, especially if there is dancing, as the dance floor is heavenly!

Celebration of Life — An Eventective User from Newmarket

After I decided to have a Celebration of Life for my wife, while she is still here with us, I was able to get in touch with Robin from the Ballroom. Upon entering the Ballroom to meet with Robin, the hall was set up so beautifully and it was such an easy decision to use the Ballroom for this event. Everything went so great. There were many people that attended the event tell me that they would rent this Ballroom in a heartbeat. I was planning on around 125 people to attend and ended up having 195 people showing up to celebrate with my wife. It was so special. If anyone out there is looking for a venue to have a reunion, celebration of life, wedding reception, or any type of function, I would recommend the Ballroom without a doubt. The facility and staff were so great to work with. I sincerely want to thank Robin and staff for providing me with a wonderful event. Jim Duffy

Baby shower — An Eventective User from Nottingham, NH

I was looking for a hall at first and couldn't really find one for the time frame and things I needed and within the price range. I went to see the ballroom and it was so much more than I expected and needed but they had the time and the price range. From the beginning the staff was fabulous from Robin to the day Emma was there to help with any needs, questions or concerns. I work full time and had so much going on had never done a shower before but Robin answered all my concerns kept me calm and never missed a beat. The facility is really beautiful. Yes it is older but they have taken care and redone things that it is a hidden gem. It had corners to gather as small groups and an area we used to sit and open gifts tables plenty to spread out for everyone to wander and eat. Emma was there in the background to help with any need from the moment we arrived to decorate until we left. Everyone had a great time and loved the Ballroom. They were amazed at how beautiful it was the people that may have been there years ago to those that had never been there ³. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for their event and partly for the facility and the other is the staff that was so helpful even when I was in panic mode. Thanks Robin and Emma for making my first event my daughter's bay shower a success. She was so happy. Thanks and definitely book the ballroom you won't regret it.

Retirement Party — An Eventective User from Newmarket NH

We recently had our retirement party at the Rockingham Ballroom. It was the perfect venue for our event. Plenty of seating, lots of room for our buffet and beverages, access to musical options and a beautiful dance floor. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for YOUR next event!

Awesome Baby Shower space — An Eventective User from Durham

Responsive, quick turn around, super fun event! — An Eventective User

Our swim team had our end of season party here over the weekend and it was fantastic! We had plenty of room for all the games for the kids, a Photo Booth, an awesome stage to present our awards, and they even had a fooseball and ping pong table! Awesome place, we will have our event again here next year!

80th birthday party — An Eventective User from STRAFFORD

We LOVED our experience at rockingham ballroom! Jim made everything easy...he was wonderful. My parents used to go dancing there in the 60s so it was sort of nostalgic for me. I especially liked having a kitchen so we had our own foods and guests brought stuff (TOO much, of course). We had a great time! Thank you to Jim again.

I first reached out to the Rockingham ballroom only days before our scheduled event due to another ballroom canceling on us last minute. Jim immediately responded and began getting to work to ensure we could still run a flawless event. He worked alongside us to ensure our accommodations were met and made sure any questions/concerns we had were promptly answered. On the day of our event, Jim came in early to make sure everything looked as we requested and by the time we arrived I could not be more impressed! I can't say enough how grateful we are that not only could our request be met on such short notice, but also for all the effort the Rockingham Ballroom put in to make sure we had an amazing event. I would 100% recommend this ballroom for any type of event.
