Rockingham Ballroom is a historic 1934 dance hall & event center spanning 8,500 square feet and features the largest floating dance floor in New England. Our amenities include: chairs and tables at no extra cost, a built-in entertainment system complete with a professional sound system, lights, and a disco ball, a prep kitchen for all your catering needs, and a slick, old-school bar that looks like it came straight from the golden era of Hollywood! Located in Newmarket, NH. 15 minutes from Portsmouth, Exeter, Hampton, Durham, and 45 minutes from Manchester and Concord.

Celebration of Life — An Eventective User from Newmarket
After I decided to have a Celebration of Life for my wife, while she is still here with us, I was able to get in touch with Robin from the Ballroom. Upon entering the Ballroom to meet with Robin, the hall was set up so beautifully and it was such an easy decision to use the Ballroom for this event. Everything went so great. There were many people that attended the event tell me that they would rent this Ballroom in a heartbeat. I was planning on around 125 people to attend and ended up having 195 people showing up to celebrate with my wife. It was so special. If anyone out there is looking for a venue to have a reunion, celebration of life, wedding reception, or any type of function, I would recommend the Ballroom without a doubt. The facility and staff were so great to work with. I sincerely want to thank Robin and staff for providing me with a wonderful event. Jim Duffy

Baby shower — An Eventective User from Nottingham, NH
I was looking for a hall at first and couldn't really find one for the time frame and things I needed and within the price range. I went to see the ballroom and it was so much more than I expected and needed but they had the time and the price range. From the beginning the staff was fabulous from Robin to the day Emma was there to help with any needs, questions or concerns. I work full time and had so much going on had never done a shower before but Robin answered all my concerns kept me calm and never missed a beat. The facility is really beautiful. Yes it is older but they have taken care and redone things that it is a hidden gem. It had corners to gather as small groups and an area we used to sit and open gifts tables plenty to spread out for everyone to wander and eat. Emma was there in the background to help with any need from the moment we arrived to decorate until we left. Everyone had a great time and loved the Ballroom. They were amazed at how beautiful it was the people that may have been there years ago to those that had never been there ³. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for their event and partly for the facility and the other is the staff that was so helpful even when I was in panic mode. Thanks Robin and Emma for making my first event my daughter's bay shower a success. She was so happy. Thanks and definitely book the ballroom you won't regret it.
