Great experience with Hilton Christiana for our dear Lara and Gilbert's wedding shower — An Eventective User from Newark, DE

It was a very pleasant experience having the wedding shower of our friend's daughter and future son-in law in Hilton Christiana last January 13, 2024. From planning and coordinating with Katie (Catering Sales Manager) up to the event itself, it was very smooth and easy. Katie was very clear in explaining to me everything I have questions on during the planning. The party was a success. Our guests especially the couple - Lara and Gilbert really had a blast. The banquet head Suzan and the staff were helpful. They assisted us on our inquiries and requests. Our guests love the E-central room (it was the room I really liked due to the color and theme) and commended on the great food. The price was reasonable and there was no corkage fee for cake from outside. Again thank you so much, overall experience was very great and we will definitely recommend Hilton Christiana to others . The Hilton Christiana Wilmington is a great location to have your Delaware wedding. They provide all the necessities for a perfect day: room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. The staff is friendly and accommodating and will help you through every step of the process. They set you up with an event planner that guides you through the ins and outs of your wedding day. They are there to make the decisions easier for you, and they do. A really great thing about the Hilton Christiana is that it is all-inclusive! Flowers, wedding cake, all of the food from appetizers to dessert, table linens - you name it, they have it covered. They also provide the bride and groom with a suite for the night of the wedding! The menu options are numerous so you are sure to find something you love. There are so many hors d'ouevres to choose from and they are all delicious; it is hard to pick which ones to have at your special day. You are given the option of vendors for your wedding cake, and where your flowers are designed, but the cost is covered in your total. It is the best of both worlds: choice, but without having to search through the masses of information you might find if you are looking on your own. Their selections are from the best vendors in Delaware, so no matter what, you are sure to enjoy your big day with the Hilton Christiana.
