Looking for a charming and affordable wedding or event venue? "The Caborn (kay born) Wedding Chapel " is a rustic 1887 church sitting on a scenic country hill. The Caborn Wedding Chapel is conveniently located LOCALLY between Evansville and Mt.Vernon IN. Just 2 miles north of hwy 62. We different packages for different budgets. The Sanctuary seats 100 and the Banquet room seats 75 people comfortably. If you have questions see our Facebook page. Our terms and packages. Party rental: $150 per day or the entire weekend Thursday thru Monday for $200 Elopement : Your place or ours. This is offered by appointment only. $100.per hour. (One hour Minimum) Simply Married Package: Do it yourself! $300 no reception or rehearsal dinner. For 3 days! $400 WITH reception/rehearsal dinner. For 3 days ! This package is the basic rental of the Chapel & reception area. It is already decorated in ivory and neutral colors or decorate yourself. You would have chapel 3 days Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Officiant can be provided free or you can obtain someone of your choice. Our most popular package is the Country Wedding Package. $1500 this package includes use of entire Chapel (sanctuary AND banquet room) for 3 days. The Sanctuary will be decorated with white or ivory decor or with seasonal decorations or decorate yourself. Lower level will be decorated with table linens, simple table arrangements. Simple three tiered wedding cake (decorated). Officiant for ceremony(or you can bring your own), Coordinator on hand to assist with event. PLUS all bridal party flowers, silk or fresh! We have a list of quality vendors (DJ, photographer etc.)available that we have worked with before. Carey'd Away Package is all inclusive. It includes all of the above PLUS vendors and food.
