Old Alabama Town is an outdoor history museum managed by the non-profit Landmarks Foundation for the City of Montgomery. The 19th century village is open year-round and its mission is to preserve, interpret and present Central Alabama's architecture, history and culture. From lavish antebellum mansions to humble log cabins and slave quarters, at Old Alabama Town you will learn how early Americans of all backgrounds lived and worked in Central Alabama. We can accommodate up to 100 guests in many different rooms as well as the outdoor park. Old Alabama Town can host many special occasions including weddings, receptions, corporate parties, holiday parties, social party or any special event.

The Elms is a very large plantation home, built in 1836 & gorgeously restored in 2007. The Elms is only 15 minutes from downtown Montgomery & sits on seven acres of peaceful, quiet grounds. The trees all hang heavy with Spanish Moss giving this place that uniquely Southern charm. The Elms boasts a huge chef's kitchen, two beautiful & modern parlors, a dining room and an expansive, window-lined sun porch. This romantic and magical setting is perfect for a dream wedding, a family reunion, a birthday bash, or an intimate shower or group gathering. The Elms is one of the only venues that offers you two full days for your weekend event. For $3500 you get all day Friday and all day Saturday. That means the venue is available for your rehearsal as well as your rehearsal dinner! Included with your reservation are tables & linens and chairs for 100. We do all the set up, all the clean up, and we provide staff during your event. The Elms is also available for an hourly rate Sunday through Thursday. The hourly rate is $150/hour on site, and time on site includes any time anyone related to your event is on site at The Elms.
