St. Mark's welcomes all people to enjoy our wonderful spaces, regardless of faith or personal beliefs. We have plenty of room for your special event, no matter the type. While our beautiful and historic 1916 sanctuary can seat up to 150 people, our modern, spacious, light-filled community hall is best suited for up to 120 people. We can even create a nice dance space within the community hall. You may rent just the sanctuary or just the community hall or rent both spaces together.
There are Bluetooth sound systems in both the sanctuary and the community hall, which also has a SmartTV. Little ones can be attended to, or entertain themselves, in the cozy nursery adjacent to the restrooms.
You'll find the well-appointed commercial-style kitchen perfect for your caterer or your own food service needs for your already prepared food. There is no extra cost to use the kitchen as described above. Clients who want to prepare food from scratch in our kitchen should expect to be charged an extra fee. Certain items in our kitchen, such as plates and coffee cups, are not generally available to use. Exceptions may be made by the events coordinator when coffee and tea will be served at an event.
We provide all of the chairs and tables and will do the initial set-up. All tables and chairs are to be left in place once the event is over. White, round tablecloths and long, flat white tablecloths and white cloth napkins in holders are available to rent for those who do not want to bring their own disposable table coverings and napkins. Please plan on providing your own disposable dinnerware. The round tables each seat eight and are 72 inches in diameter. The long, flat tables are six feet long by about three inches wide. Glass, stemmed wine and champagne glasses are also available to rent.
You'll be provided, free of charge, one hour to decorate the sanctuary and two hours to decorate the community hall. Need a little more time? No worries. We'll be flexible without adding a fee.
For wedding parties or other groups who need a space to dress and otherwise prepare, we offer the library and one of the upstairs classrooms, each complete with a clothing rack and full-length mirror. The rental fee is $40 per hour for each space with a four-hour availability.
Getting married but not an Episcopalian? That's not a problem. Our rector will be happy to confer with you should you so desire. You are also welcome to choose your own officiant. Are you not a Christian? That's OK with us too. We don't have any requirements as to your beliefs or lifestyle. We embrace diversity, equality and inclusion.
We're here to provide you with adequate spaces for a great price. Our fees are set by a number of factors which allow our events coordinator to work within your desired budget and comfort zone.
Need a smaller space? Ask about our two upstairs classrooms that each seat about 25 people. There are SmartTVs in both rooms. The classrooms can be rented on a regular basis or just for one time.
