The Orme School campus occupies half a square mile near the geographic center of Arizona. It has tall trees, green lawns, flowery gardens, and uncluttered vistas of distant mesas and mountains. Our elevation of 4,000 feet above sea level makes for an ideal climate without the intense heat of the lowland deserts of southern Arizona during the summer months. Here, we are able to combine the best of both indoor and outdoor recreation.
With a variety of amenities to choose from, your group has a plethora of opportunities to personalize your experience. Our campus is full of meeting spaces that are sure to fit your event, meeting, and presentation needs, including our chapel, Horsecollar Theater, and various-sized classrooms. We are able to accommodate over 150 guests in our authentic cabin dormitory environment. Adventure awaits right outside your dorm room; our facility features football and baseball fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and hundreds of square miles to walk, mountain bike or horseback ride in any direction. Hungry? Our culinary staff in our Founders Dining Hall operates with the farm-to-table approach, serving fresh food daily. On top of our amenities, you are guaranteed to enjoy the natural beauty of our high-desert setting.
In addition to our base facilities, there are many activities that your group can take advantage of, for additional fees. Art and horseback riding are parts of a true southwestern experience, both ancient and modern, so we offer art classes and trail rides to supplement your stay. We also offer a range of team-building and adventure activities including: archery, canoeing, fishing, orienteering, nature hikes, astronomy, paintball, and outdoor living skills. Not on the list? Let us know what your group has in mind, and we will help execute your idea.
