She made sure to be available to answer our concerns, even the last minutes ones. Not being from the U.S., I was sometimes a bit lost. I changed my mind so many times on so many little details, but she guided me through this whole process. I received so many helpful suggestions from her and she was patient enough to listen to me, to understand what I had in mind, and she made sure to incorporate all the details from my culture. I gave her a general idea and she turned it into a dream come true reality. The venue was beautiful and the way she decorated everything was beyond perfect. The rehearsal prepared us all well for the wedding day. Since the ceremony was outdoor, she even had a plan B for the case it might rain. I was planning to get there hours earlier on the wedding day to make sure there will be no unwanted surprise. However, due to some hairdresser issues on the wedding day, I barely made it on time to start getting ready myself. I was unable to check out what was going and had to totally rely on Kathi, my bridesmaids and my family. Kathi made sure to keep me updated and kept checking on me to make sure everything was alright, all this while supervising the vendors and the decoration. They had an event the night before the wedding, but it would have been hard to believe looking at how perfect things were when I got there. My bridesmaids and my family still can't stop telling me how well she organized everything and kept everyone calm. Honestly I didn't have the time to get stressed or anxious because everything just went smoothly. I just showed up and had fun. So did my husband and my guests. Gala Events Facility was amazingly beautiful, and Kathi was the best part of it.

We had my son's graduation party there and I can say it was wonderful !!! The attention is very good, Kathi helped us a lot. Excellent food. This is the third time I have an event at Gala. And if I have another party, I would surely do it there. Thank you for everything!!


Bat Mitzvah ceremony and reception, from Gala Events Facility

This venue is great for a smaller ceremony/reception - we had about 93 people total. Our ceremony was outside and the reception was inside. Kathi was helpful in helping us plan a beautiful event for my daughter that included our traditions. We had a DJ/entertainer, photo booth, fun ice-cream bar, etc. Everyone had a blast. The outside was very pretty and the inside was perfect for our sized group!

Gala Events Facility was the chosen venue for our wedding on May 20, 2017. Let me start by saying that Kathi is a GOD sent. I fell in love with the venue the moment I stepped inside. For a small guest list like ours, the venue was perfect. The place gave me that intimate feeling that I was looking for. Kathi was extremely helpful in planning, assisting, and executing my perfect day. She was made the entire process thou stressful, pretty easy. My day was spectacular. The Gala Events Facility exceeded our expectations as the venue for my daughter’s sweet sixteen party. The venue is simply elegant and gorgeous. The coordinator Kathi for the venue was super helpful and professional. Kathi made sure everything was just perfect for my daughter’s day. Kathi was very detailed with the floor plan and also helping my daughter create a custom birthday filter for SnapChat. When the guest arrived at the venue they couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. This is an awesome place to host any special event.

This venue is amazing for a small wedding! Everything went without a hitch and Kathi (head wedding coordinator) made sure everything went perfect for our big day. She even corrected the photographer a couple of times so that we got the best and typical wedding shots. For catering with this place, I would recommend Christopher, who has a great catering business and works with Gala. I would recommend Trey as a DJ. He had our small wedding dancing the entire time. We had numerous comments that our small wedding was the most fun and beautiful wedding that people had ever attended (though maybe they were just saying that).

I was asked to plan our company anniversary party (35 years in business, about 50 guests, November 2016) and was a bit overwhelmed by the prospect. After talking to Kathi and making a visit to the Gala facility, I was sold. I thought the location might not be suitable for a formal business party because of its size (thinking it may be too large), but I was so wrong. The layout worked out perfectly, allowing guests to enjoy the different spaces as the evening activities changed. There was an area for our cocktail party, plenty of room for our buffet dinner, a stage for making announcements & recognizing long term employees, a lounge area for doing a silly photo booth, and a beautifully lit arch on the outside patio where we were able to get lovely pictures of our staff and their significant others. Kathi arranged tastings with the caterers, showed us options for table dressings, and offered the use of their big screen for a photo loop and plug-ins so we could provide our own music. We loved having the whole location to ourselves, something that we could not have gotten if we had chosen a public restaurant. The attention to details was impressive and made arranging & hosting the event practically effortless. It’s our pleasure to share our experience at Gala Special Events facility and the fantastic staff found there with those considering the venue. Our thanks again to Kathi.

We had our wedding reception at the Gala, 9/24/16 I worked with Kathi who was truly amazing! She was very helpeful and patient when choosing my decor. When we arrived everthing looked great. Gala fit the bill for us in so many ways...the staff, the venue itself and the atmosphere were great! Kathi is an amazing person to work with due to her patience, flexibility and tried and true advice in sorting out the various kinks that come up in event planning. My husband and I were married at Gala recently, and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our intimate wedding. Gala was very elegant and everything we wanted in a wedding venue, but very affordable at the same time. The wedding package Gala offered made the entire planning process a breeze with no stress involved, since the venue took care of almost everything. Kathi Bland, the Venue Manager, went out of her way to ensure we were happy. She was friendly, patient, kind, considerate, and just an all around great person. Kathi was always ready and willing to help. Whatever we needed, she was there to accommodate. I must have sent Kathi a million emails, asking tons of questions and making endless requests, yet, Kathi was always prompt and professional in all her replies. On the wedding day, everything was put together so perfectly, it was even better than I could have ever imagined. All the vendors provided by Gala were beyond reproach. Everyone was punctual, very professional, and the services they provided were top notch. Our wedding coordinator, Jamaica, was absolutely fantastic! Jamaica went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. She practically did everything and took care of us so well that all we had to do was to enjoy ourselves. The service provided by Gala was second to none, and we were so happy to have chosen this venue. My husband and I received many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and how Gala was the perfect elegant venue to host it. Our special day would not have happened so smoothly and beautifully without the help of the amazing staff at Gala. This was the best decision we made for our wedding. Kathi was very attentive and patient and very flexible. Our decor was just as we wanted it and everything was beautiful. Before the wedding, we were able to shoot her an email with any question and would get a speedy response. Every time we met with her she was prepared and had all her notes on our day ready. Another plus was being able to use the vendors she works with. We used the cake vendor she suggested and our guests could not stop talking about our cake. We also used one of her food vendors and that blew our guests away as well. The photographer she suggested showed up earlier than we said (what a problem to have right? :-) ) and he too was great. There was nothing that disappointed me on that day. Another reason we loved this venue was the cost. We got everything we wanted and still stayed within our budget. This venue can give you everything you want and you will not break the bank. We paid for our wedding ourselves and this was a big part in choosing our venue. The fact that we were able to have our ceremony outside and reception inside was also a plus. Most of our guests were from out of town so we didn't want them to drive around. This venue also has relationships with nearby hotels that includes a free shuttle to and from the venue for guests and a free suite for a night if you reserve a certain amount of rooms. We took advantage of that too. I highly recommend Kathi and this venue. Give her a call, set up a meeting, and go see the venue. It will be worth it!

Great place to start our new life together!, from Marietta, GA

Gala is a great venue for a wedding. The grounds are beautifully green in the spring and summer and the outdoor chapel looks wonderful when decorated with just a few flowers and accents. The entrance walk way has room for pictures giving a nice touch as the guest can review some of the couples relationship and family times before they are seated for the ceremony. It was very convenient to have a choice of three caterers or our own, we went with Savory Plate and were very happy. Our wedding co-ordinator Kitty did a great job keeping things flowing and was happy to accommodate a few last minute changes. My wife and I are very happy, and would chose Gala again!

From the beginning stages of planning to the very end, the team at the Gala was wonderful! They were flexible, patient, and highly organized. A Magical Reception, from Marietta, GA

I absolutely loved Kathi at Gala Events Facility. I am glad I went with my gut and got an all-inclusive venue. It was definitely worth it. I loved the personal meetings we would have with Kathi explaining our vision and walking around the venue and setting things up to get a better picture of what everything would look like the actual day. The venue itself was beautiful and just the right size for our 100 guests, but it will not fit more comfortably if you want to have more. The food was excellent though I admit, I was not paying the most attention to it (I was on cloud 9). But at the tasting, the in-house vendor they had was professional and everything tasted great. I will definitely be going to their offsite restaurant to celebrate one of our month anniversaries soon. We had a snafu the day of the wedding, because our coordinator did not appear to have all the information she needed. It did not ruin the evening, but it was frustrating as Kathi had been prepared very well, but it was not her coordinating, but another woman who was lovely, but again, not as prepared. But I give a great rating, because after I explained the situation (after the honeymoon) to Kathi, she was very understanding and offered to help fix everything in anyway. That's the type of service I like. It's not a perfect world, but right now, everything sure feels perfect. :)

The Gala Events Facility was the perfect choice for our Holiday Party. It is conveniently located in East Cobb but also tucked away and provides and intimate gathering spot. Kathi provided impeccable service and made an unforgettable event for our employees.
