Our campus features two large Pavilions totaling 12,000 square feet of rental space under roof. We also have a park-like Plaza that features a year-round, lighted water feature. Weather permitting, the Pavilion doors can open 180 degrees to create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience.
CityPlace Expo Center is located in beautiful La Grange, Kentucky (in Oldham County), less than one mile off of Interstate 71 (I-71).
We are no longer booking weddings or receptions as we have shifted our focus more towards corporate, nonprofit, and private events. However, we do still host smaller wedding-related celebrations, such as bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.

We have an open catering policy, which allows you the flexibility to use any professional caterer of your choice.
Your rental includes the use of our furniture, setup, breakdown, and housekeeping services. You will also have full access to our onsite technology equipment, which includes large HD TV screens, cordless microphones, podiums, walkie-talkies, and free Wi-Fi.
No, CityPlace Expo Center is closed on Sundays and is not available for rentals.
Yes. Eligible nonprofit and church organizations can apply for our Special Use Grant. This can be used for weekday events (Monday – Thursday), Grant recipients will pay a small cleaning fee instead of our standard rental fee.
Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please reach out to our events team to schedule an appointment for a personalized tour of our campus.

Every year, our nonprofit hosts one of the community's largest events, Light Up La Grange. We use both venues offered by CityPlace and it is excellent! The spaces are so clean, they set up and tear down the tables and chairs for me, and the staff is the best! Cheryl, Maddie, and Andrew always make sure that everything runs smoothly. I could not ask to work with a better team! I have been using CityPlace for years and I will continue to do so.

Beautiful venue. Ceremony and reception in same place. There was a staff member on hand at all times to help. They oversaw the transformation from ceremony to reception and it went very smoothly. Able to come back and clean up on Monday, that was great not having to do it that night. Only issue was sound quality, echoing made it difficult to hear the DJ. Oh and the large window in Pavilion 1 is beautiful ,just make sure you avoid having ceremony at sunset, some people were blinded by the sun.
