The Avonlea Heritage Museum is one of them. It has a barber shop, a grocery store, a rail station, a school, a jail....etc all in separate rooms with matching artifacts. Also take a tour of the Avonlea Badlands, which is not far from the town. You can get local guides who spend two hours with you hiking through the Badlands. There is so much to learn about the history of the area, the native plants, birds and animals. The Badlands are beautiful.
