Just off the main lobby of the inn. 26' x 20' formal gathering/dining room. Large open fireplace that used to be the original cooking fireplace in 1812. Cchairs and a camel-back sofa
Oriental carpets divide the room into two areas.Dining room table and chairs are centennial Chippendale pieces that belonged to the original Lord family. The dining room set and one bed are the only original furniture at the inn which can be traced to the Lord family.
Second common room on the first level of the inn was the original summer kitchen and retains the original fireplace and brick oven. Room is now used for meetings and has a TV for guest use.
