CSG Meetings Management & Consulting (CSGMMC) was formed in 2010 as a dedicated Meeting and Event Planning resource committed to providing solutions for clients that would best serve their needs while mitigating known potential risks. With over 27 years of experience in the meetings and events industry on both sides of the Atlantic, and specialties in hotel site search and contract negotiation, pre-planning, on-site management and consulting, I have a unique perspective into what’s critical in planning and executing successful and value-driven meetings and events. I also understand and am extremely sensitive to the fact, that holding meetings and events is an increasingly expensive activity with an enormous amount of pressure on the principals to produce a successful outcome. Being an advocate of ‘paying it forward’ one of the quantifiable outcomes I am able to offer to my clients is that by sharing and directing the experience and expertise I have into affordable customized solutions for them, immediate results are realized re cost savings throughout the entire planning process. My goal for each new project is to offer to the client an ‘a la carte’ menu of services for both pre-planning and on-site management customized to fit individual meeting and event needs as well as to accommodate internal fiscal and legal requirements. One of specialties is hotel site search and contract negotiation. As an independently owned and managed company, I am not contracted to any one hotel or chain of hotels or operate as a site search company (such as Helms Briscoe or a Conference Direct) via a placement fee or on a fee basis paid by a corporation such as American Express to drive clients toward certain brand hotels. Rather, I am free to negotiate with any hotel I choose thus ensuring the most competitive and un-bias rates for my clients. In addition, I enforce my own contractual terms and conditions that in turn better protects my clients from hotel bias attrition clauses, or the myriad of hidden hotel charges not visible to the un-trained eye. My ultimate goal will be to protect your meeting, your event and your budget, while eliminating unnecessary costs and headaches.
